After visiting several agencies, this was the only place where I genuinely felt treated as a person rather than just another applicant. Jo was kind, patient, and very understanding, and Jordan was incredibly welcoming and helpful during the viewing, even though I arrived unexpectedly. They both took the time to listen, answer questions, and offer useful advice, which made a big difference. Moving after many years is stressful, but I left feeling much more reassured and positive about the whole process. Even though we didn’t go ahead with the property this time, I’d happily work with them again and highly recommend them.

23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Incredible service from Aston White from start to finish. Martin was great. Very professional, with excellent communication and most importantly, they knew how to attract the right serious buyers. They handled the viewings, kept us informed, and were very knowledgeable about the local market. A lot of estate agents are more like “marketing” companies and lack the personal touch. Aston White feels more like a professional consultancy, which is what makes them different. If you are looking to sell or buy a property in Billericay, I would suggest speaking with Aston White first. We tried a local estate agent before, and you couldn’t even compare the two.

We were buying with them & the chain was long & complicated and every step of the process Jess and team were there to support. Jess is honest, clear, maintains excellent communication throughout the process. She always tells you exactly how it is to avoid wasting your time & to make sure everything goes through. She helped manage the entire process often being the one to chase solicitors and get stuff sorted way beyond her role. She went above and beyond and we would 100% recommend them to family & friends & we will definitely use them again!

They were quick to ring us back if they couldn’t answer straight away. We would happily recommend them.

Fiona, Jay and David have been absolutely amazing — extremely helpful with every issue or enquiry we’ve had, and always so friendly, kind, and professional and very quick to resolve things as well !! I’ve rented many properties over the years, and I can honestly say these are the best agents I’ve ever dealt with. They have a genuinely welcoming open-door policy, and everyone in the office has been smiling, approachable, and helpful every time we’ve visited. Highly recommended!

The Wickford team delivered fantastic service from start to finish, making the whole process stress-free and straightforward. I want to give a special mention to Natasha Tomlins, who was brilliant throughout – her guidance and support helped me navigate my first house sale with ease, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was turned around. I genuinely appreciated being kept updated at every stage and always felt reassured knowing Natasha was on hand to answer any questions.

Ross and Georgia (& the rest of the team behind them) were extremely professional, knowledgeable and organised with regular updates and pushing to ensure everything moved ahead steadily. After 2 short chains collapsed with a different agent we lost a year in delays, so I wish we had taken the whole process with Balgores sooner. We would recommend Balgores 100%. 17th Jun 2026 (18 days ago)After 10 months on the market with another agent in Grays, I genuinely thought my house was never going to sell.<br><br>In all that time I only had 5 viewings and no offers. I hardly ever heard from the agent unless I chased them, and I was getting more and more frustrated as the months went by.<br><br>I had a leaflet through the door from Carter Remy offering a free valuation and, to be honest, I nearly binned it. I’m glad I didn’t.<br><br>They came round, had a look round the house and explained what they would do differently. There were no big promises, just a clear plan, so I decided to take a chance and switch agents.<br><br>Within the first week they had arranged an open day. I remember sitting there watching people arrive on my Ring doorbell and thinking “where was all this interest for the last 10 months?” There were 12 viewings in one day.<br><br>A few days later Craig called me and said they had 3 offers on the table, all at or above my asking price. I actually had tears in my eyes. It probably sounds silly, but I’ve had a really tough couple of years personally and the thought that I was finally going to be able to move and start the next chapter was overwhelming.<br><br>The sale itself wasn’t completely stress free, but that’s not Carter Remy’s fault. As with most house moves there were delays and solicitor issues along the way. Every time something needed chasing though, Anne-Marie and Allison were on it. They always came back to me, kept me updated and never left me wondering what was going on.<br><br>I completed 5 days ago and looking back, switching to Carter Remy was the best decision I made. They got me more viewings in a week than my previous agent managed in 10 months, found me a buyer almost immediately and helped get the sale over the finish line.<br><br>I can’t thank Craig, Anne-Marie, John, Allison and the rest of the team enough. They didn’t just sell my house, they restored my faith that there are estate agents out there who genuinely care about their clients.

They have moved away from the traditional hard sell estate agent , they work with huge knowledge and quiet confidence. We are happy with all aspects of their work and would say that despite their higher fees they are worth every penny.

Communication is clear and timely, and he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that both tenants and landlords are well looked after.<br><br>Akash handles property matters efficiently and proactively, giving confidence that everything is being managed to a high standard. His attention to detail, knowledge of the rental market, and commitment to excellent customer service make him a pleasure to work with.<br><br>I would highly recommend Akash to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated estate agent and property manager.
14th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)As a renter, my experience of Bairstow Eves Billericay branch was very disappointing and frustrating. They are very friendly and chatty but fail to get the job done and action items on their side. I had 2 experiences, where it took a prolonged time and lots of chasing, in order for the action to happen. The first time, I wanted to renew our contract with some adjustments and it took lots of chasing and follow ups as they were unable to action what was agreed with the landlord and update the contract. The second time, they took over a month to return our deposit. Despite both the landlord and I, confirming to them that it can be returned the same day as speaking with them, they decided to wait a week before instructing the deposits team. Friendly bunch but they made everything 10x harder than it had to be.
