16th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I paid £213 to Greenfield for the holding deposit. The referencing failed. Instead of them refunding my money. They deducted £60 from my money. When I enquired The agent called Laurence said, they have deducted the cost of referencing from it.<br>I said what?? You didn't tell me from the onset. Moreover, I have not asked anyone to do referencing on my behalf, so why I'm I bearing the cost.<br>Is this extortion or what???

It was a pleasure to be dealing with an intelligent, helpful and knowledgeab le person. My buyers benefited from Charlotte's expert guidance. 25th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Overall, the feedback was when agent was chased for updates but didn’t find them very proactive. The agent didn’t sell the property despite being on the market for over a year, however other market factors were in place so it’s not all attributed to agent’s performance.

From the outset working with Seamus has been a very easy process - he intuitively understood our property & was extremely communicative & detailed re viewings & feedback & the handling of the post-offer admin has been exemplary. They kept me updated all the way of our purchase of our new house. As a first time buyer, they helped me to understand the process and answered all my queries in timely manner. Although there's some unexpected delays but still managed to complete our purchase with a grateful hearts. Thank you for all your help.

From viewing the flat to moving out, they were always attentive and responsive, and made you feel like you weren’t just another tenant.<br><br>Particular shout out to Lina, Derek and Matthew who made the moving out process so smooth when I had to (v sadly) move out of my flat. They clearly explained everything I needed to do and made what could have been a stressful process feel completely hassle-free.<br><br>Would definitely recommend Porters to anyone looking for a professional and genuinely helpful estate agent!

During the rental process, he was a wonderful bridge between us and the landlord, and we were able to complete the rental procedures quickly. Additionally, his communication style was always very polite and understanding. I would like to thank him here as well.

Even though she was acting for the sellers, she was always fair, honest and genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything went as smoothly as possible.<br><br>She was brilliant at keeping everyone updated, chasing things when they needed chasing, and helping with communication between both sets of conveyancers. She also kept in touch with the sellers, which really helped move things along when there were delays.<br><br>Buying a house can be really stressful, but Sam made the whole process much easier. She always replied quickly, kept us in the loop and went above and beyond to help get everything over the line. We really appreciated everything she did and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and Village Properties.<br><br>The wonderful gift left for us was also hugely appreciated, it was especially enjoyed in the evening after moving on one of the hottest days of the year!!

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.

James French and Tim Buckley were so helpful and always available to speak on the phone. Compared to other estate agents who pass you from pillar to post, James and Tim were amazing. If I ever move house again, I will only instruct Radstock
