In a challenging conveyancy progress, she took the lead and used her initiative to do things to get our sale over the line that other estate agents in the chain were not prepared to do. It was needed to get things over the line and she wasn’t going to sit back and watch it crumble. I was incredibly grateful.<br><br>It was very reassuring to know someone was fighting out corner when we were faced with a very real reality of our purchase falling through.<br><br>I write this, sat in my new garden, in what is now my new happy place, feeling thankful she was on our side.<br><br>Thank you!
26th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)We have purchased two properties through this estate agent (with one purchase still ongoing) and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing!<br>Communication within the office staff has been very poor, and it often felt like staff were not communicating with each other. When our solicitors experienced delays, we were repeatedly threatened that the properties ( both of them) would be put back on the market, despite this never actually happening! This created unnecessary stress during an already demanding process.<br><br>In addition, both surveying companies we used commented on the difficulties they had communicating with this estate agent, which suggests our experience was not an isolated one.<br><br>While we appreciate that an estate agent acts on behalf of the seller, we felt there was very little effort to facilitate the process for the buyer or keep everyone informed. Overall, the lack of communication and the way issues were handled made what should have been an exciting experience far more frustrating than it needed to be.
1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

As proof I had two copies of 1 item, one valued at halls one valued by another firm. The halls valuation was less than 100 pounds. Yet the other was valued and sold for 800 pounds. Both items where I. Identical condition. I would not trust this company again. I should point out both items where sold in the Shrewsbury area. So the difference cannot be put down to regional differences. Be very wary if planning to or currently using this firm.

There were quite a few complications along the way, but Maddie handled everything professionally, kept us updated, and was always there to help and reassure us. Her support genuinely made a stressful situation much easier. Its been a long process due to solicitor delays which meant a lot of intense activity in the final week. The staff at Bridgford's, especially Destiny worked hard to help get the sale through. They earnt their fees and we are very grateful. I would not use a faceless online agency.

We got constant phone calls from "vouch" asking for us to set up bills for the property and asking for card debit card information. These calls kept happening even after we didn't get the property. We won't be using keates again.

From the valuation up to finding a buyer the whole team were professional, informative and very friendly. Within a week they managed to arrange few viewings and including one potential buyer. From the initial booking of the evaluation, to their marketing expertise. All the way through to bookings and viewings. They have been amazing! Sales progression have been great. Pushing the sales along when we thought it had stalled!
