8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)It never turned up to the view in. Making up excuses. I find this very, very disappointing from a letting agency making it harder for people like myself to try and find somewhere to live. And then they refused to turn not to the view and make one excuse after another. I find this very disappointed and very angry I come two and a half hours away on Friday and never turned up. It's one skis after a novel. And I find it very disappointing. When someone's coming nearly two and a half hours away to view a property. I'm very disappointed and very angry and now I've got to look for another letting agency. Never wanted to resolve it.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Any questions or issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently.<br><br>I really appreciate their support and would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional estate agent. 3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)I dont usually leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I'd hate for someone else to go through what we did. Me and my partner were meant to move out in July for a house that was "avaliable immediately" we had a move in date confirmed, checks passed, welcome homes had sorted WiFi ect and was told the day we were meant to get the keys that the landlord had decided to sell the property, which if we had been informed at any point we wouldnt have even put in for the house. We had little to no communication from our agent even though we had sent several emails over the weeks leading up to moving in and it wasn't even our agent that told us the house was being sold, it was another agent who we had to email as ours was unresponsive. We tried calling but the voicemail was always full and after we had been told we couldn't have the house it was radio silence, no help with cancelling the wifi that they had set up, no apology for not letting us know anything so we had already given notice to our current landlord and was at risk of being homeless and I STILL haven't had a refund for my holding deposit which should have been refunded first week of July despite me emailing and ringing twice. I understand it was the landlords decision about the house but the lack of communication and empathy is disgusting

The whole team were professional, friendly and incredibly supportive throughout what can often be a stressful process. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and quick responses to any questions we had. We always felt informed and reassured, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Their marketing of our property was first class, with fantastic photographs and great exposure that really helped generate interest. What really stood out was the personal approach. We genuinely felt that the team cared about achieving the best outcome for us and went above and beyond to make the sale as smooth as possible. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend NestledIn to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you to everyone involved for making our move such a positive experience!

Danielle answered every question with patience, guided us through each step, and genuinely made the whole experience feel less overwhelming.<br><br>What stood out most was that her help didn’t stop once the sale completed. She continued to go the extra mile, chasing up our onward purchase and offering advice whenever we needed it. That support made a real difference to us.<br><br>We’re incredibly grateful for everything she did and would recommend Danielle without hesitation. Although we hope it’ll be a long time before we move again, we wouldn’t think twice about using her services in the future or recommending her to others.

She was prompt in responding to every enquiry and any question I had. A viewing was arranged quickly, and once I fell in love with the flat, the whole process was completed in no time. He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!

From the very beginning, he has been incredibly efficient, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my purchase journey so far.<br><br>Jake submitted my very first offer on what will be my dream home, and he has gone above and beyond at every stage since. He even delayed his lunch break so I could get to the office with my paperwork, then helped with all the technical side of uploading the documents so everything could be processed quickly.<br><br>Communication has been outstanding. Jake has kept me fully informed about my vendor's house search and the progress of the rest of the chain, so I've always known where things stood. He also instructed my solicitors on my behalf, making the whole process much smoother and taking a lot of the stress away.<br><br>Whenever I've called or emailed, Jake has always responded promptly.<br><br>If you're buying or selling a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake and the team at Mallinson & Co. Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
