24th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)This agent requires sixteen weeks.There wasn't communication after the contract was signed. The property was on the market, but it was the twelfth week before anyone enquired. Could not locate agents window on the high street. They do not use professional photographers, which was definitely a mistake. The agent works alternate Saturdays, but never informed me beforehand, and suggested I didn't tell him I would be away. Unsure of the question as he did agree to conducting the viewings. One viewer was due to come on a Saturday, but never showed. It's possible she tried to contact,but got no reply. It's the same response I got when I rang twice on that Saturday. He got the keys along with instructions to the alarm, but still managed to set it off. He does not come over too well, and can't say it's the right career choice.

Whenever we had any questions or concerns, they were answered promptly, clearly, and professionally, making what could have been a stressful process feel much easier.<br><br>We would especially like to thank Carol and Jacqui, who have been absolutely fantastic from the moment we booked our very first viewing. Their communication has been excellent throughout, and that’s exactly what you hope for when buying a home.<br><br>As first-time buyers, we were completely new to the process, but we never felt pressured or rushed into making decisions. 6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Luke and Tim are an absolute disgrace.<br>Do not rent a property from them. They will disappear and won’t answer calls and voicemails. They won’t complete any health and safety checks of the home, they won’t complete any of the repairs, you will pay you’re rent to Luke and he doesn’t pass it to the landlord, the list can go on. He is a scammer, thank god I have found out who is the owner of the property. Who is mortified of paying for repairs to be completed to find he took the money and did no repairs. Do not rent from them. A few weeks in and you won’t be able to get in touch with Luke.

8th May 2024 (2 years ago)Agent turned up one and a half hours late for property inspection, no phone call to inform me. When I called their office a women said she has asked the women coming to visit to call me but she didn't bother. When I challenged her she said she had not been asked to call me to say she was going to be late only when she has finished her inspection (who's telling the truth) RED FLAG. She also whined on about being in a meeting and that she had only been working there for a week or so NOT MY PROBLEM not interested in time wasters. I needed to contact my landlord to inform him of the poor service he is paying for and in then contacted PP. A long story short when the evidence was put to Simon Bacon the manager he had no choice but to apologise to my landlord but no apology to me for wasting my time. Always going to apologise to the landlord because he's paying him. VERY POOR appears there is no proper in house or external communication. Glad I'm only going to here for a short period of time.

The whole process was handled professionally from start to finish, and the team was always helpful, responsive, and kept me updated every step of the way. They answered my questions promptly and made what can be a stressful process much smoother.<br><br>I’m very happy with my new home and would definitely recommend this estate agency to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. 11th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)This lettings agent in wednesbury are not helpful in anyway, i couldn't get a viewing booked online, still went ahead to their office in wednesbury to see if i could talk to someone, the lady i met was utterly disrespectful and dismissive. kept reminding me that she was on sales team and have nothing to do with lettings and wouldn't even give a listening ear. my overall experience with them was unpleasant.

23rd Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)We'd previously tried to sell our property through another agent but were frustrated by poor or a complete lack of communication. Green's were far better in this respect and generally responded to our messages promptly, with just the odd lapse. The whole process was quite easy, from our initial approach to the marketing and the actual sale.

1st Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Just finished our tenancy agreement after 2 years 3 months. The whole Preferential team have been fantastic but specially Emma K since I dealt with her from day one till the end of the tenancy, she is brilliant. to be fair they always fixed any fault in the property pretty quickly so thanks to Victoria for this. I did not deal much with the director Simon but he did some adjustments to my contract to be able to give the month notice from the day I exchanged contracts of the property I purchased so thanks for this. From our side we have kept the property always clean and taken care of it as if it was ours. I recommend Preferential.

Not only were they amazingly attentive when I sold my house but the team who manage my rental property are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and it really doesn’t feel like I’m a landlord because they resolve every issue, from checking potential renters to arranging workmen to fix niggles in the property. Gemma and Lauren are amazing.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
26th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)Very impressed the the weekend and bank holiday that was in place. Viewing on Saturday pre BH Monday left me thinking I would hear nothing else until the Tuesday. How wrong was I? Offer and sale subject to contract all communicated the same weekend . Fabulous service ??????

One of the biggest obstacles to completion on a property deal, once you're inside one, is ongoing communication (between vendor, buyer and solicitors), and Belvoir are on that.<br><br>Liam Hack was on our case, knowing exactly what to say, when to chase, when to hold, how to reassure, and how to flag. This shaved weeks off what otherwise could have been far more complex and difficult, had we relied solely on the solicitors.<br><br>They did an absolutely exceptional job; it's refreshing to see that level of professionalism."
