4th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Samuel Estates – Colliers Wood<br><br>I rented a property through Samuel Estates, with Jade as our property manager. At the beginning of the tenancy, she came across as very friendly and helpful. However, when it came to the termination of our tenancy, it became extremely difficult to get in touch with her. Calls were often answered by different members of staff, and getting a clear response or resolution became incredibly frustrating.<br><br>The property itself was in a very poor condition. We were paying a significant amount of rent for what was, in my experience, a substandard property, including issues with mice and holes in the flat. For the amount of money we were paying, the overall standard was simply unacceptable.<br><br>The biggest issue came at the end of the tenancy when there was a dispute over our deposit. The agency initially refused to return our deposit, and we had to take the matter through TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) to fight for what we believed we were entitled to. We eventually managed to recover the deposit through the dispute process.<br><br>Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise prospective tenants to do thorough research before renting through Samuel Estates, particularly regarding the condition of the property, communication during the tenancy, and how the deposit will be handled at the end.<br><br>I would not personally use this letting agency again.
22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)I’d like to share my positive thoughts on the exceptional service I’ve received from the staff at Cubitt & West, Office Sutton, from my very first phone call with Tamsin, My face-to-face meeting with Julia, and subsequently Nicholas.<br>Nicholas, Tamsin, and their team, to say they were professional and courteous would be a gross understatement.<br>Also a special mention for another exceptional team Member Julia who had a plan and made it work.<br>Thank you guys, GF Green.

From the first time we spoke until after I moved in, I found her warm, diligent and thorough in the handling of the matters. Purchasing a flat is particularly long and at times stressful process, however, her warmth and competency, made things look easier and did an excellent job. She was approachable, skilled and naturally a problem solver. She was sure to return calls whenever she said she will, her communication was clear and her working style is agile — all of it made the purchasing process a lot more easier.<br><br>Petya is an absolute gem for the company and I'd 100% reccomend anyone looking to purchase a property to have their first conversation with her.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Tariq and Riccardo who were both professional and helpful on occasions we interacted. I Booked an appointment to view this house, I was lucky to be shown the house by a lady called Lesley Daniel. She was professional with her team all the way through my property purchase.<br><br>I highly recommend her to anyone would like to purchase a property from Cromwells in Carshalton Beeches. She deserves a five star rating.- 30th Sep 2026 (27 days ago)Having had the odd trouble with letting agents in the past, Centro has been nothing short of exceptional. In particular, Liam’s support, all the way from the initial viewing, to moving in has been stellar. We did not experience a single headache, and I attribute that largely to his attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile.

10th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)LANDLORDS BEWARE!! I posted this in 2022 but it was somehow deleted so I’m posting it again.<br>We found the Belvoir office in Carshalton Beeches to be very inexperienced - the owner and staff are new to the business and when things go wrong they have no idea how to handle it. Their vetting/referencing processes were totally inadequate. We have lost over £10,000 in unpaid rent, cleaning and legal costs as a result or their inadequate referencing. Belvoir, and their referencing agent Let Alliance, gave our prospective tenants a “pass” on the referencing report and it subsequently turned out that those prospective tenants had faked their payslips, faked their employment and were fraudsters! Belvoir/Let Alliance refused to acknowledge their mistake or accept liability. We will NEVER use Belvoir again, nor any letting agent that uses Let Alliance as a referencing agent.

We had a few people value the property, and Steve won us over instantly - no hard sales pitch, just a realistic and personable approach to finding the right buyer for our property. He was communicative, prompt with responses and just generally lovely to work with. We would not hesitate to recommend him!

They both were professional, helpful and approachable. Dealing vwith your own agent meant you were always able to speak to someone. I would highly recommend Laurels to do with business with.
5th Oct 2022 (4 years ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

They helped us sell our flat, and the service we received from start to finish was exceptional.<br><br>Having had a disappointing experience with our previous estate agent working with Butlers was a breath of fresh air.<br><br>From day one, they were proactive, responsive and genuinely invested in helping us achieve the best possible outcome. They kept us regularly updated, stayed in touch without us having to chase, and openly discussed different strategies and options with us throughout the process. We always felt informed and supported, but never pressured into making any decisions.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Liam, who led our sale and has been absolutely outstanding. He is knowledgeable, professional, approachable and clearly takes real pride in his work. Equally, every other member of the team we dealt with was consistently helpful, friendly and professional. 20th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Unfortunately we did not sell our house and have now relisted elsewhere.We only had one viewing .Goodfellows as a team were good and not their fault my house did not sell . However ,my real issue was lack of communication . A once a week call to tell us no viewings booked was not helpful and strategies should have been recommended /discussed . The photos of house were great mind you !
