31st May 2025 (9 mo. ago)We used “Which” to find out the best performing local agents, of these we approached Greenwoods first as they have an office within walking distance. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient from the start, and Branch Manager, Phil Marsh, took us through every step of the process. From then on, Phil kept us informed and responded to all of our queries. He consistently provided all the assistance we needed to obtain a sale. We would recommend the Wells Road branch without hesitation.

13th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Bad experience here. I have been waiting for the return of deposit since 08/09/2024 (check-out date), at time of writing the date is 04/12/2024. Despite asking for updates and calling, I have not received any response from this agency for 2+ weeks. IMO, there are many other options in Bristol worth trying before Chase Buchanan Downend.

They were were accessible, proactive in communication and supportive throughout and were happy to field our questions and deal with our frustrations. We really appreciate how this impacted on our move and how it made us feel. We will definitely be recommending David James to friends in the area when they come to move.

She has been incredibly helpful and communicative throughout, always proactive in keeping things moving. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and her support has made what can be a stressful process feel much easier. We would highly recommend Harris & Lee.

She has been with us every step of getting our property from application of our mortgage up to sorting out our insurance and much more. We are proud to say that we are officially home owners and the best part was the process was really smooth and I believe that was due to Mariana's assistance and support. We are still contacting her now if we have questions and she always responds in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who would be in the process of getting a property.

27th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)Jamie and the team helped us to buy our first home and couldn’t recommend the Hunter French Tetbury team enough. We had a lot of negotiation due to some additional land being purchased alongside the property but we were kept informed throughout and this resulted in a smooth and swift sale, receiving the keys just months later. We will certainly reach out to the team if we need any help selling/buying in future. Thanks again to the Tetbury team for their help and support throughout what can be a stressful process !
12th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)The agents were generally adequate, though punctuality was a concern. During one arranged inspection, the agent arrived over an hour late. I had contacted the office beforehand to cancel as I was no longer available, but the agent still attempted to gain entry and became defensive and confrontational when refused access. My main concern is with the property management companies they represent. I would strongly advise caution when dealing with properties managed by Forge Property Group. Despite being an exemplary tenant with a perfect payment record and maintaining the property to a high standard, they demonstrated extreme inflexibility. When my partner's grandfather passed away and we inherited his cat, Forge Property Group refused to allow it despite my offer of additional security deposit and the fact other flats in the building have pets. They refused to renew my tenancy solely due to this, then served a formal Section 21 eviction notice as a "precautionary measure" despite my full cooperation. The property was not redecorated between tenancies and basic maintenance required extensive follow-up. Future tenants: document everything in writing and be aware that flexibility cannot be expected from this management company.
