From start to finish they took a planned and methodical approach to the whole process rather than just snapping some pictures and bunging it on rightmove and that be it. Chris always kept us in the loop and was happy enough to pick up the phone rather than just hide behind sending emails whether it was good news or bad. If we ever decide to move again I'd happily go with them (the feeling may not be mutual ??????)
20th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Don't bother to clean up too much, no matter how hard you try they will still charge you hundreds of pounds. After living at one of their properties for just 6 months, I handed over the house as clean as I got it but they still charged me £560 for deep cleaning. Very disappointed I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!

The communication was excellent, with everything explained clearly and any concerns addressed quickly. I really appreciated the professionalism and support provided, which made the whole experience much smoother.

Megan McFarlane was incredibly helpful and assisted me throughout, from the initial enquiry right through to moving in. Communication was always prompt and professional. Highly recommend Abbotts and Megan in particular — a truly seamless letting experience.

They ensured that what is -with the best will in the world - rather a stressful process, became as hassle-free an experience as possible.<br>What is more, they found us a buyer incredibly quickly. Our sales negotiator at the Stamford office, Ms Bennie, responded extremely sensitively to the type of property we were selling and therefore ensured that only the most sympathetic of potential viewers were shown around the house.<br>Thereafter, all subsequent sale negotiations were handled speedily, courteously, and to everyone’s satisfaction.<br>We would not hesitate to use Savills in Stamford again – and indeed, are about to do so!<br><br>Further to the above - we have just sold a second property through Savills in Stamford. Ms Victoria Short was our first contact and was really superb at suggesting the best way to market our property - AND any changes we might like to make before the process began. With Ms Bennie who has handled the final negotiations, Ms Caisley and the wonderful viewings team, the process throughout has been hugely supportive and highly efficient. I couldn't recommend them enough - and have recently done so to a couple in our village who are about to add their names to the Savills client list.

They made everything straightforward and stress-free, keeping me updated at every stage and ensuring the move went as smoothly as possible. I have not enough words to thank him for the personalised approach and sense of urgency he worked with whilst we navigated a huge change. The day the property was put on the market, a tenant was confirmed on the very same day. Could completely switch off from the letting side of things and get on with other pressing matters.
