28th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Our experience trying to sell our property with William H Brown was extremely disappointing and ultimately quite disastrous. Before we signed with them, the team were highly proactive in their communication and sales pitch. We were promised consistent outreach to potential buyers, regular updates, detailed analytics, and valuable insights throughout the sales process. Unfortunately, the reality after signing the contract was completely different. Communication quickly became poor and reactive rather than proactive. We repeatedly found ourselves having to chase the team for updates and manually intervene to ensure viewers were actually being followed up with after property visits. In several cases, it appeared that little-to-no meaningful follow-up had been carried out unless we specifically requested it. There also seemed to be a lack of organisation and visibility around prospective buyers. The team often appeared unsure about where leads were in their decision-making process, whether further conversations had taken place, or what objections buyers may have had. This left us feeling as though there was no clear sales strategy or ownership of the process. Given the fees involved, we expected a far more professional, engaged, and proactive service. Instead, we were left feeling frustrated, unsupported, and lacking confidence that our property sale was being managed effectively. In the end, after a few months with WHB and no real leads for the sale of our house, we ended up going with another local estate agents who sold our house within a month. Overall, we would not recommend William H Brown based on our experience.
5th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)We chose Newton Fallowell on the basis of their excellent reputation and were not disappointed. The manager, Adam, was superb in personally overseeing our purchase and sale. Everyone in the office was proactive and kept us well informed of the progress of the whole transaction, to enable a smooth and well coordinated purchase and sale. Well done and thank you to all involved for a highly professional service. We recommend the team at the Stamford office unreservedly.

The staff , Particularily Tom and Lucy, were so helpful as to guide me through all the different Apps and processes that were needed.<br><br>The property was extremely clean and the garden was even strimmed and tidied up, which was a delight. The owners had left me a bottle of wine, which happened to be the kind I drink.<br><br>Thank you very much.

And she expertly navigated working with the US Air Force housing office to ensure that I was able to move in without any issues. 14th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)I’ve been really disappointed with how things have been handled. Communication has been slow and unclear, especially when it came to something as important as the tenant’s notice. I wasn’t given the exact date it was received or a copy of the notice when I asked, which made it difficult to check that everything was being managed properly. The delays have also made things harder for me when it comes to planning next steps, and it feels like this could have been avoided with more timely and transparent communication. I’m also concerned that the check-out inspection when the tenants moved out was missed, with no one attending as expected. On top of that, the tenants’ deposit has still not been returned, which is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the overall management. Overall, this has not been a positive experience. I would have expected a far more responsive, reliable and professional service.
22nd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We have previously bought through Winkworth Deeping and have now recently sold through them. I can’t recommend Winkworth Deeping enough. From start to finish they were professional, informative and their communication was excellent, we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better service. Always honest, open and reliable. A huge thank you to the whole team, particularly Matt who kept us informed at every milestone. All your hard work is appreciated.

She's been clear, patient, and genuinely focused on what works for my situation rather than pushing a product. She explained my options in plain language and answered every question quickly. The guidance has given me real confidence going into the rest of the process. Will update once everything completes, but so far the experience has been excellent.
2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)STAY CLEAR, THEY WILL TRY AND KEEP YOUR MONEY. 0 STARS I had a very disappointing experience with Vintage Shore when attempting to rent a property through them. After initially being accepted, I was informed that I had failed referencing because I had allegedly misrepresented my income on my application. As a self-employed individual, I had accurately stated my earnings and was surprised to be accused of providing false information. To challenge their decision and recover my holding deposit, I provided extensive evidence, including bank statements and transaction records, clearly demonstrating my income. Despite this, they continued to insist that I had failed referencing because I had “lied” on my application. What I find most concerning is that it was only after I mentioned pursuing legal action that their position suddenly changed. My deposit was refunded, and it became clear that I had not lied on my application at all. This suggests that the issue may have originated from their referencing process rather than anything I had done. The whole experience was stressful, time-consuming, and could have been handled much more professionally. Based on my experience, I would advise prospective tenants to keep thorough records and carefully challenge any decisions they believe are incorrect. Another aspect of my experience that I found disappointing was the level of customer service I received. During one phone call, I spoke with a member of staff who came across as extremely rude, dismissive, and arrogant. I challenged his attitude during the conversation because I felt it was completely unprofessional. I later raised my concerns with another member of staff, explaining how I had been treated. Rather than addressing the issue directly, I was told that it was a “cultural difference.” In my view, this is not a valid excuse. Regardless of cultural background, customers should be treated with respect and professionalism. Being rude to a customer is not acceptable, and I found the response to my complaint just as disappointing as the original interaction.
16th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)I recently purchased a house from Harrison rose and i have to say the service i received from them was outstanding the whole way through, and they weren’t even my estate agent! Between a long chain and my solicitor not being the quickest the whole thing took longer than I had hoped but Sonya and Paul were amazing throughout, sending frequent updates as to where we were along the way and even helping to chase my slow solicitor. As a first time buyer the process was a little stressful but their understanding and patience made it all much easier. I have no plans of selling but if i ever do, i know exactly who I'm going to use.

From the start, their communication was excellent, we received regular, honest updates and useful feedback throughout the entire process. They did a fantastic job presenting our home. The photos were high quality and really highlighted the best features of the property, and it was clear they took the time to properly understand the house ahead of viewings. What really stood out is that, unlike many estate agents who tend to go quiet unless there’s a viewing, Villager Homes genuinely delivered on their promise to be proactive. We always felt informed and supported, not left wondering what was happening. After the sale was agreed, Ana in particular went above and beyond. She worked incredibly hard to keep us updated on everything happening across the chain, especially during times when communication from other parties was slow or unclear. That made a huge difference and really helped reduce the stress. Overall, we were really pleased with the experience. The whole team were friendly, professional, and consistently went the extra mile to help wherever they could. We’d highly recommend them.

We had 6 other local estate agents come over to value the house and Steve was the only one who seemed so friendly, professional and genuinely wanted to help. He talked us through the valuation and listened to our opinions too. The fee - We liked that Steve offered a competitive percentage based on the final sale price. Steve organised a fantastic videographer and photographer to take photos and videos of our house and the final results were stunning!! He also provided a 360 tour of our property too. Our house sold in less than 2 weeks! We had some ups and downs between selling and competition (no fault of Steve or ours) and Steve was there every step of the way! Our sale completed within 10 weeks which is super quick (thanks to our amazing solicitors and Steve’s fantastic work ethic) Always quick and easy to contact Steve via phone call or what’s app. We are so pleased we chose next level properties and we highly recommend! Thank you Steve! You are a legend!

Amaan went above and beyond with not only our mortgage but the entire moving process. He made such an effort to ensure we got the best deal and was always on hand to answer our questions. He stayed in touch with us throughout the process and even helped with chasing others and keep things progressing. We have used a previous advisor before and the experience and level of service was just incomparable. Amaan was 10/10 and we’ll never use anyone else.
