26th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)I’m extremely upset with this company. One of their leafleters forcibly opened my closed electric gate—at 7:30 in the morning—to get to my front door. I’m a mother home alone with two babies, and that gate is there for our security and privacy. I felt violated and unsafe. I emailed the company to complain and never even received a reply. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

They guided us through the whole buying process with care and attention, making what can be a stressful experience so much easier.<br><br>We couldn’t have asked for a better service and are delighted with our new home. I was kept fully informed but didn’t need to get involved in the viewings. Darcy valued our house at the value that we expected it to be and we agreed to listing this with Hinchliffe. The team worked fast to put the house on the market, with fantastic photos and in less than a week, Harry had the house sold. Couldn’t be happier, just waiting for the whole process to complete for all parties. We are buying through Hinchliffe too, so it’s a nice and simple process for everyone.
13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Disappointing Experience with Philip Ellis Estate & Lettings, Whitefield<br><br>I had a disappointing experience with Philip Ellis Estate & Lettings in Whitefield while they were managing the rental of my property for approximately one year.<br><br>The property was brand new when it was let. After the tenancy, I found that it required extensive refurbishment, which was both frustrating and costly. Given the condition of the property at the start of the tenancy, I was disappointed with the condition in which it was left and the amount of work needed to bring it back to an acceptable standard.<br><br>As a landlord, I expected effective property management, appropriate oversight and clear communication throughout the tenancy. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations.<br><br>I can only comment on my own experience, and others may have had different outcomes. However, based on my experience, I would advise landlords to clarify the agent’s responsibilities, ensure thorough property inventories and inspections are carried out, and document the condition of the property before and after each tenancy.<br><br>Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I would be hesitant to use their services again.

The service and feedback from each viewing was prompt and timely. The sale proceeded swiftly and completed on time. Would highly recommend them

I want to say how great I found Rooftops Lettings. The communication was fantastic, emails, phone calls pre-viewing and follow up when they said they would. The lady I dealt with, Louise, was amazing. So friendly, honest and genuine. The process was very straightforward, Louise was so professional and made me feel really special when she contacted me to say we'd been successful, she was genuinely happy for us. I can't recommend them enough, not all agents treat you like a human being, Rooftops really really do. Thanks Louise.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier.
