20th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)I listed my property with JDM for over 12months. They advised me to accept an offer to sell without checking if the buyer had a mortgage offer in place (he did not). It took almost 3 months of waiting to progress the sale before I started to push JDM to find out the buyer had no mortgage in place and the sale had fallen through. I had instructed solicitors and incurred £600 in failed fees all off the back of the advice given to me by JDM. JDM does not qualify prospective buyers positions before arranging a viewing and from my experience ,even before presenting offers to a vendor. I moved my property to KFH. It was sold in less than 3 weeks. 5 viewings, 4 offers and my sale was progressed impeccably. I would urge anyone to think carefully before using JDM. From my recent experience I would strongly suggest avoiding.

13th Mar 2026 (6 days ago)We had a fantastic experience selling our house with Beresford Adams. Carlie was our key contact, and she was outstanding! She was incredibly positive, efficient, and professional from start to finish. Carlie’s communication and people skills are excellent, and she handled some tricky moments — including delays and issues raised during the survey — with calmness and good humour. Whenever something needed sorting, she always helped to move things forward, particularly when the process became difficult or stressful. She was always cheerful, responsive and reassuring, and her professionalism, combined with a genuinely warm personality, made what can be a stressful process much easier. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Beresford Adams to anyone looking to sell their home.
19th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)They had exactly the right balance being freindly and not " pushy " The lead up to exchange with 5 in the Chain was really unpleasant but they were always on the end of the phone and Toby personally waded in at 4PM on the last working day for solicitors on Friday the 19th to push the exchange through. Anyone can handle an easy transaction it's the really difficult ones that show proper customer service.
3rd Feb 2025 (1 year ago)From the initial meeting to discuss the house sale, to actually getting it on the market and selling had been hassle free. The team from Beals have been great. Communication has been so quick and the relay of messages has been good. Couldn't ask for more.
12th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)We bought our home in the centre of Wickham through Harringtons this summer. Although as a buyer we don’t pay estate agent fees, we had a great service from Harringtons. John was very obliging with our requests for viewings and information and helped ensure the whole process ran smoothly. Helen was super helpful behind the scenes ensuring that there were no delays in the chain and the process was wrapped up within our planned time scales. We are really delighted with our new home and the service we received from Harringtons. I can’t imagine moving from this home but if we did, I would definitely choose the team at Harringtons to support us.

17th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

They went out of their way to ensure they knew everything about the property before viewings which included Richard making sure that all the agents knew everything detail so that answers could be given on viewings. I had full trust in how they went around their business and were extremely professional. I highly recommended SBK and will be using them again. Thanks to the whole team

The entire team have been incredibly supportive and proactive throughout the entire process, especially when encountering unexpected difficulties along the way. Their knowledge of the local market has been invaluable, as has their professional yet extremely friendly advice. We would recommend them without hesitation.
5th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)I have been dealing with Louis for a few months now, and whilst I eventually found my flat elsewhere it is a shame as this guy was so well mannered, so professional and really worked hard that is a shame to have him lose the sale, but as a person a great guy and has been a pleasure to deal with. I thoroughly recommend him.

Brian, Kieran and the wider team were great throughout and made the whole process feel calm and well managed. Within the first week there were lots of viewings, and within a couple of weeks I had an offer I was very happy with. From there the sale progressed smoothly and completed in a good timeframe, with clear communication along the way. I was selling from a distance as the property was a rental, and the team were particularly helpful with this. They went above and beyond in dealing with practical and management-related issues at the property, which took a huge amount of stress out of the process and really helped everything run smoothly. Professional, responsive and genuinely supportive. I’m very glad I chose Field Palmer and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The team were always friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout my tenancy. Communication was clear and consistent, and any issues that came up were dealt with promptly and efficiently.<br><br>I felt well looked after as a tenant and really appreciated how smoothly everything was handled. Very happy with the team and would definitely recommend them.

From the initial viewing through to exchange and completion, they were professional, responsive and proactive throughout. What really stood out was their communication and calm persistence in progressing the purchase. They kept all parties aligned, followed up where needed, and ensured momentum was maintained at key moments. Overall an excellent service with particular thanks to Darren and Chris.
24th Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)First class experience with Darren at Billingham Martin not only doing a great job helping me with the purchase but also went well out of his way to provide excellent service for both me and the buyer through to the end of the full process including mediating between solicitors to keep things moving and with solid after care post completion. Not your average high street estate agent and would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell who wants an honest, professional and reliable estate agent.

Phil was the agent I purchased my property from and from start to finish he did everything in his power to get the whole chain to complete, going over and above considering he was not my selling agent. We had a very tight deadline and if it wasn’t for Phil being proactive, I’m not sure it would have happened. If I ever was to move again, I would definitely use Phil and would recommend him to everyone.
