22nd Feb 2026 (25 days ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with the rental agency. I was a tenant with them for five years, during which they conducted quarterly inspections. On each visit, no significant issues were ever raised, and I was never informed of any major concerns regarding the condition of the property.<br><br>However, at the end of my tenancy, they suddenly presented an excessive number of alleged issues and proceeded to deduct over £1,600 from my deposit — ultimately returning nothing at all. This was both shocking and deeply frustrating, particularly given the lack of prior complaints throughout my tenancy. The situation feels unfair and unjustified, especially after maintaining a long-term and seemingly trouble-free rental history with them.
23rd Dec 2025 (12 weeks ago)Middelton and Major are exceptional in their field. Never once did they let us down or be anything other than helpful, informative, honest and very friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this agency and they would be my first call if I ever need to rent a property again. It was a total pleasure from start to finish! We will be forever grateful to Siobhan in particular, who we had the most contact with.

27th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)From our initial valuation meeting with Alastair then on to Steve,who has been absolutely brilliant throughout, the team at Richard Godsell in Christchurch have been fantastic.To sell a property within 4 months of our initial valuation meeting speaks volumes for the time and effort Steve and his team have put in in making this possible.A big mention also to Lucy Bowater Sivell of Chester and Co who acted for us on Steve’s recommendation. He's answered every question I've had, explained everything in detail and has kept me updated the whole way through. Everyone in the office has been very welcoming and polite too - I would definitely recommend.
19th Apr 2024 (1 year ago)Henshaw Fox was not an agent known to me and their premises are not on the main shopping street of the town BUT they are all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They kept us in the loop at all times even when we away from home. They quickly had all marketing completed for on line sites and photos available.

He has also taken great trouble for my daughter as well! He always returns calls, rings me often, and takes care of my searches, keeping on eye on everything for me! 20th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)I used Field Palmer estate agent in Woolston for selling my property. I would thoroughly recommend them. The house was put on the market in May and I moved in November. There were inevitable hiccups along the way with some unforeseen problems, but nevertheless the chain remained secure. I believe that this was because of the interest that my agent, Leyton gave to the matter and the way that he supports both the seller and the buyer.- 24th Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Field Palmer were exceptional. I had been with another estate agent for 9 months and decided to move… from the time I talked to Ollie on the phone, I knew he would sell the house… he was enthusiastic, efficient, confident, put me at ease that it was in the right hands and within 3 months we have completed the deal…I cannot rate them highly enough.
5th Mar 2026 (14 days ago)If you’re looking to buy or sell, I would highly recommend Simon at Pettengells. Simon is exactly the kind of estate agent you want on your side. When we were searching for our relocation property, he truly left no stone unturned. He regularly contacted us to let us know about properties coming to market and was incredibly proactive throughout the process. In fact, he was the only Highcliffe agent who did this. What really stood out was how carefully he listened to what we were looking for. Rather than sending us every property available and hoping something would stick, he only shared homes that genuinely matched our criteria. More agents should take this approach instead of relying solely on Rightmove enquiries. If we were to sell in the future, we would use Simon in a heartbeat, knowing how thorough, professional, and dedicated he is. We had some uncertainty through the chain and he consistently went above and beyond to help even though this wasn’t his property but others in the chain. He always was responsive, proactive and made time to help and I think the main reason that everything worked out was because of him. Couldn’t recommend him and Farmer and Dyer enough!

Nick and Teresa have been incredible from the very start, advising us on the process, matching us with potential buyers (it genuinely feels like this, rather than just getting people through the door and wasting everyone’s time!) and consistently giving feedback so we know what’s happening. To our surprise the amazing service continued after we had accepted an offer, with Nick being instrumental in the sale process and proactively being the conduit that helped us understand was involved, helping to move things along when it felt like they had slowed and ultimately getting us to the point of exchange. We can’t recommend Quarters highly enough, they are absolutely phenomenal!

From the very beginning, Bradley was polite, confident, and extremely reassuring. As an exceptional Sales Manager, he stood out straight away with his professionalism, knowledge, and determination to get our home sold. Bradley gave us complete confidence in the process and worked tirelessly to make sure everything moved forward. His communication, guidance, and commitment made a huge difference, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about achieving the best result for us. Thanks to Bradley’s efforts, Duncan Yeardley quickly got things moving. Our property was eventually sold with the help of Freya, who also played an important role in progressing the sale and helping get everything over the line. Behind the scenes, Karen Stanton was fantastic as well. She did a remarkable job, especially when it came to resolving issues and correcting mistakes made by our solicitors. Not once did we feel pushed to continue our sale if we couldn't find the right property. The service felt extremely personal and reinstated our faith in the industry after some previous poor experiences. The fees were extremely reasonable and Matt's persistence in helping to move elements of the process outside of our control along was very welcomed. A faultless service and we cannot thank you enough for your help.
