16th Nov 2018 (7 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.
25th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)highly recommend, clearly a very professional company, they take pride in all their properties making sure everything is in place for a comfortable stay, everything is well equipped, and it’s lovely and clean and fresh and communication is brilliant.
7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way. We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. The pre-sale advice we received was relevant and helpful. The team achieved a very good sale for us during a difficult market period and helped us negotiate a final price we were more than happy with. Overall we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone with a distinctive property to sell and seeking a first-class estate agent service.

3rd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Bell and Blake were the only one of four agents we contacted who valued the property realistically. Their local knowledge was invaluable in our situation (as we live elsewhere and were selling for an elderly relative). I am very glad that we were not lured by one of the various rival firms offering inflated valuations to get us on board- the house would almost certainly still be on the market and causing us great anxiety.
12th Jun 2025 (9 mo. ago)We had an awful experience renting our house for 10 years with Strakers when we lived abroad. Our home turned from a beautiful place with a “wow factor” into a filthy mess with tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage under Strakers watch. After 5 years they replaced a competent manager with someone with zero experience and no common sense who told us that the place was in very good condition. We returned to find a huge mess. The Strakers agent is completely incompetent. Avoid Strakers if you wish to rent your home!

23rd Sep 2024 (1 year ago)If I could give 0 stars, I would. I opted to withdraw my offer on a property despite being so over the moon it was accepted and loving the house. So sorry to the seller, but it was not worth risking my mental health in dealing with an abrupt, pompous individual. Didn’t even acknowledge my email, though unsurprising given the communication thus far! Shame Rightmove doesn’t allow you to filter out agents!

8th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Su Leeburn was my agent. Chose her over a few other estate agents who give quotes. Mostly for her local knowledge and personable approach. I only dealt with her and she did all of the viewings so was able to give great feedback. Once we had found buyers offering a reasonable price she negotiated a better price and kept me informed. The sale went well from exchange to completion and Su was able to manage the expectations of the buyer. Took about 6 months from initial listing to completion. A great service at every stage.
