10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)From the moment I viewed to when I collected the keys, the team at Hunters was excellent. I have worked with them across branches, one in Sheffield and this one in Barnsley. There were regular updates and check-ins that made the process of buying relatively stress free.
6th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)They took me on as a client knowing full well they were going to close the business, I am so disappointed that for 3 weeks my property wasn’t marketed properly.. I believe this has harmed the sale ????????

12th Mar 2026 (6 days ago)I had an excellent experience with Jasmine while moving into my new apartment. From the very beginning she was professional, helpful, and incredibly responsive. Moving can be stressful, but Jasmine made the whole process feel smooth and straightforward. She kept me updated throughout, answered any questions quickly, and made sure everything was handled efficiently. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she was always friendly and approachable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making the move-in experience positive, but Jasmine at Bridgfords really did go above and beyond. I’m very grateful for all her help and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to move.

Peter's great expertise of the market is second to none. It provided me with comfort and a valuation I was very happy with. Summer was particularly superb at managing the sale process. She was very attentive and knowledgable of the finer details, while also efficiently keeping the solicitors on track. Great experience from start to finish, highly recommend.- 24th Feb 2026 (22 days ago)One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Buying a house is a very stressful time but they made every step easier and less stressful. Caitlin even called me on her day off to help with an issue. Thanks again ladies!

A special shout out to Micheal their mortgage advisor who works in house a few days a week. He worked specifically hard to get us a good deal and was very thorough. If we were to sell again I would use Ryder and Dutton.

Mike went above and beyond. The Communication between us was fantastic and so reassuring. Choosing an estate agents and getting the right one is so important. I’m so glad I chose Leaders.

The whole process of applying for a property is straightforward, open and highly professional and far better than I have experienced with other Lettings agents in Huddersfield. The team where quick to respond when needed, no hidden fees, all information is given up front and they really care about their tennants. Support during the tenancy when needed has been quick, easy and communication is excellent.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the moment I met Kelly, I could tell how much she genuinely loved our home. Her enthusiasm, attention to detail, and the way she immediately understood what makes our property special gave us complete confidence that we’d chosen the right agent. Then I met Laura, who came to take the photos, and wow, she’s amazing. She has captured our home beautifully and created the most stunning brochure and descriptions. Seeing the finished result honestly made us fall in love with our home all over again. I’m so impressed with the level of care, professionalism, and passion the team has already shown, even at this early stage.
