We were left high and dry after dealing with the worst estate agent in Otford, only to find ourselves thankfully in very capable hands. Seamless rental arranged by Paddi/Rose while waiting for our purchase to go through. Can't fault any of the process, always available to speak to, timely responses to emails. Hamptons went above and beyond. Many thanks.

The whole team were incredibly friendly, helpful and supportive throughout, and always made me feel like I was in safe hands. They were responsive, professional and genuinely went the extra mile to make everything as smooth and stress free as possible, anything that needed fixing it was done immediately. He really listened to what we were looking for, understood the vision, and was always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. He made the whole process feel much easier and was a pleasure to deal with. We would highly recommend Stephen to anyone looking for an estate agent!
27th Apr 2026 (17 weeks ago)I was a tenant of Dockside Property services for two years. In that time, they charged me disgusting amounts for a check in fee, check out few, signing fee, if they had any involvement you better believe you'd pay for it. They also took 1.5 years of that two year tenancy to fit a bathroom extractor fan which was broken when I moved in, and that the previous tenant tried to get fixed. Every issue I ever raised was dealt with in a sluggish manner sadly - an online portal / report system can be as fancy as it wants - but it doesn't help unless you actually check it. They were also kind enough to charge us for additional cleaning of the property when we left it spotless - as well as trying to charge us £60 for replacing a piece of wood under the dishwasher that wasn't fitted back after repairs that they did. The reason it didn't fit was because the repair made the gap physically too small for the wood to fit in, so oddly enough I couldn't refit it, but somehow they didn't seem to understand that. Maybe they didn't do that "get the shape in the hole" game when they were younger. After explaining this they then doubled down on their stupidly and we disputed via the DPS, and they settled in our favour because I figure someone that works there actually has eyes / a basic understanding of shapes and measurements. Either way, I wouldn't rent from them again unless I had no other option. Oh, and if you're looking at renting 25 The Eye, the flats in Chatham, the hot water is basically non existant (unless you take 3 second showers), the washing machine is from the early 90's, rent is very high, you can hear every breath of your neighbours (above, on both sides and below) as well as the lovely potent smelling...."cigarettes" from those below 24/7 - and if you hear a scuttling in the night in the walls or see something dash across the kitchen floor, don't worry, that's just the rats from the bin store under the building. ??????

Kian, Fiona and the team have been super helpful during the entire process (which was not an easy and quick one because the house was under probate). Kian kept us informed all throughout the process with great communication and being a go-between us and the seller to try and move things along as swiftly and quickly as possible. We would definitely recommend.

Their marketing of my house went above and beyond: As well as the expected internet postings, prospective buyers were actively sought, demonstrating that these guys really know the local market. I was kept regularly informed on marketing strategies & results & given detailed feedback after every viewing. Special mention must go to the Senior Branch Manager, Ollie, and the Sales Progressor, Tracey, who, once Connells found my buyer, guided and supported me through what otherwise could have been a stressful process. They both kept me up to date with developments - not only regarding my sale but also my onward purchase. Ollie & Tracey were tenacious & tireless in their efforts behind the scenes, chasing up buyers, sellers, solicitors and, indeed other sales progressors & estate agents who were not always as rigorous as the Connells' team. Throughout it all, they maintained unfailing good humour, fielded tricky negotiations & always had the best interests of me, the seller, as their priority. I am absolutely delighted that I chose Connells, Tunbridge Wells, to sell my property and I recommend them unreservedly.

15th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)September 2025 was not a good time to sell a house.The financial crisis, followed by Christmas, had everyone worrying about money .It took until Spring before there was any real interest.However, the team at Wards stuck with it Jordan gave me good advice and the team began to send a few potential buyers ,people who were enthusiastic about my property. Finally, the right couple came along,a couple who I was happy to sell to.
14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)I made an enquiry relating to the recent successful sale of my (non UK resident) brother's apartment by MIles & Barr's Birchington Office. It was for Capital Gains Tax purposes, and I was anticipating a laborious process, as with most things these days. My call was taken by Tom, a Senior Branch Manager, who explained what he could do. Within a very short time, he emailed the information requested, in the format required. I was very pleased with this rapid and efficient response for what was a 'non mainstream' question on a very hot August day. He is truly an asset to the business, so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We have used Miles & Barr for a number of transactions now and they have always been very successful.

They took over the sale process of my property after being on market with another estate agent in Sidcup for some time. They were highly proactive with viewings and always very pleasant to deal with and courteous. Also strong at communication and keeping me updated and managing our sale through to eventual completion, despite a very long property chain and a few challenges with solicitors. Very happy with the service I received.
