7th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)Despite any other comments, I had an amazing experience with MSL, I guess it depends on which house or property you’re going for. I stayed at Coulston Road, and it was amazing, I stayed there during my 2nd year and it remained as the best house I ever stayed at during uni. The MSL team was responsive, the property was in perfect condition, no mould, no damp, and if any issues arose they would be there within a couple of days to fix it. I imagine that this is not the case with every property, if you’re going for a very cheap alternative I imagine there will be a few more issues, but if you’re staying or planning on staying at 46 Coulston Road, or any properties in that price range, rest assured, they’re top quality properties. *EDIT* I forgot to mention, I kept my room in perfect condition, no damage, no mess, everything nice and neat and tidy. There was however some normal wear and tear in the room as can be expected through occupying a space for a year, for instance the paint in the shower started chipping away and a couple of other things. However, even with the wear and tear, I received my full deposit back. Not a single penny was taken away from my deposit. Those comments saying they took away their deposits for no reason, I would beg to differ, I image their threshold for “no reason” is very low, since I had no issues whatsoever with the deposits. Just keep your room in good condition and you won’t have any issues.

We appreciate difficult selling markets but when working in those a realistic and honest approach from the estate agent to the seller is vital but unfortunately not something that this agent achieved in our experience
11th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)We've recently purchased a house that was for sale with Hilton & Horsfall.<br>Kendra has been incredibly friendly, helpful, informative and proactive during the past few months, keeping us updated at all stages, easing a lot of the inevitable stress that comes from moving house.<br>Really recommend, great customer service!

22nd May 2024 (2 years ago)Absolute shocking service which resulting in me losing alot of money. No communication, no updates, they over value a property to get you on board and then you have to keep reducing the price because they cannot sell it. 2 years to sell a property during a time when all houses were flying off the shelves! Anything associated with Duckworths, I would stay well away unless you want to lose money. They don't care and it shows in their service.

19th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)The valuation was more accurate than others and had a good understanding and knowledge of local sales and area. Felt communication, advice and securing viewings could have been better once property had been on the market for six weeks. Time until agents were available for viewings once almost two weeks, so be sure to offer that you will do viewings if you are able to speed up getting people in Better communication and speed since the offer of sale.

She was professional, supportive, and kept us informed every step of the way. Her communication was excellent, and she managed any issues calmly and efficiently. We always felt she had our best interests at heart and worked hard to achieve the best outcome. - 18th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)Entwistle Green at Leyland have restored my faith in estate agents!! The were handling the sale of the property we purchased. From the very first viewing we had, the professionalism and friendliness was clear. The whole process was handled really well. However, they really went above and beyond when the solicitors got involved. We were in a chain of six and our buyer's solicitor was particularly difficult and obstructive. The staff at Entwistle Green, especially the branch manager, got invloved in chasing owners to push things through including organising mutually agreeable completion dates. I realise that this is not part of an estate agent's "remit" and was very grateful that they helped so much to get us into our new home.<br>I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their property.

I turned to Lisa in times of trouble in which she was prompt, responsive and chased up anything I was struggling with when my solicitors was doing nothing.
