9th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)DO NOT USE this Awful company for student lets. Throughout the entire year many issues were reported such as a broken door in one of the ground floor accessible bedrooms (security issue), leaking gutter, major mould problem (which gave my flatmate eczema; robin kings solution was to send us a YouTube video on how to prevent mould incl by using a tumble dryer which the house didn’t have ….), broken fridge handle etc and these issues required multiple follow ups before anything was done leading to very long delays. My friend had a desk in her room that was too big for the room; robin king said they would provide a new desk yet never did despite months of reminders…. Only benefit is they didn’t take our deposit. In contrast our landlord the following year (Bristol student lets) repaired any issues immediately and were a lot more pleasant to deal with. As you will notice most of the 5 * reviews are from the people who are letting their run down houses out at predatory rates to students who have no choice so they can profit whilst providing zero maintenance because students don’t know better. Not good as we paid a lot of money (they then have raised rent for new tenants) for the disprivilege of using this company

The floor plan was spot on and they exceeded our expectations on price within just a few days. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you especially to Lee & Adam for making it so easy and straight forward!

Scott and Stuart, in the office really helped push everything through. Scott’s knowledge and chasing mediation, was invaluable. We were very grateful for all their help. I would highly recommend this estate agents for buying and selling.

27th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)When we were buying our house in Washford, Wlikie May & Tuckwood were the agent for the seller. Unfortunately, our sale was riddled with problems which held up the purchase, turning it into a stop-start process for nine frustrating months. But, Wilkie May & Tuckwood's perfect understanding of our difficulties and their highly professional help in solving them, was exemplary. We did not know that estate agents could be as good as Wilkie May & Tuckwood are. Huge thanks go to Justin, Ellie and Faye at Wilkie May & Tuckwood in Watchet.- 11th Apr 2026 (19 weeks ago)We recently bought a house through Wilkie May & Tuckwood (which was not planned as we did have another house purchase lined up but for reasons outside of our control (very slow third parties…) this didn’t go through). Our chain below was ready to exchange but our purchase was nowhere near ready, so we had to make the decision to look at other properties as our chain looked as if it would fall apart if there was no progression. We found a house listed with Wilkie which my wife and I did fall in love with when we visited. We explained our situation to Thea and advised we would need to get the purchase through as quick as possible to try and keep our chain together. In record time (8 weeks) the house sale was through and we’ve now moved in and beginning to enjoy our new lives. Throughout the process, Richard, Thea, Mark and Vicky were incredibly helpful, responsive and friendly. I have no doubt in my mind that their work on this purchase is a big part of the reason why we were able to get the purchase through and save our chain in such a quick time. Even after the purchase had gone through, the team at Wilkie have still been willing to help with queries and questions we have about the local area and services. Honestly, if you’re looking at a house being marketed to through these guys you’re in safe hands. This is clearly a company who take pride in their work and the local area. We felt valued as buyers which was very refreshing. Thanks for everything you’ve done for our family!

Zach kept me up to date and communicated with my solicitor answered e mails out of hours. As this got a bit complicated with the sale at the end, but we got there on the date expected for completion . Thank You
