They worked tirelessly in a difficult market to secure two sales of my property, with the sales only falling through due to totally unforeseen circumstances. They advice and thoughtfulness have been invaluable and made what is a stressful process, far more tolerable. Friendly, incredibly responsive and always looking for new ways to market and sell, they have been nothing short of first class and I would unfailingly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home.

5th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)I have used Hindhead to relet a small number of investment properties which for many years I had owned and managed myself. I have used them for more than a year now and everyone there is really pleasant to deal with. The advertising and viewings are done quickly which really helps minimise the time the properties are vacant. Their application process also gives you a really good insight into who will be living in your property and I value the peice of mind I have knowing everything is compliant. John and Susan Couch and their team are really helpful and friendly with very high professional standards. In particular, the sales progression once we had found a buyer was consistently superb. 2nd Jul 2026 (3 days ago)My agent is based at the Dawlish branch, Stuart. 99.9% of the time I call Stuart at Dawlish I get diverted to the Teignmouth Branch because Dawlish is too busy. Teignmouth say we will pass on the message and call you back.<br>Do you not understand that someone selling a property probably has a job and are phoning you during a rest break and it IS NOT convenient or possible to take a call when back at work.<br>I WOULD NOT recommend yourselves to any family or friends.<br>Please take note.

I knew nothing about estate agents or the value of my mothers property but our daughter had recently bought a house via Mayers and said that they were good. We looked up and down the street and out of 5 estate agent boards that were visible 4 were from Mayers. So, with 1 personal recommendation and 80% silent recommendations we decided to go with Mayers. We weren't disappointed. As an aside, during the selling process we had reason to meet our buyers. They also had nothing but praise for Mayers.
