Most recently last month Sara helped me sell a flat she got an offer within a week and the sale completed in 3 months. Amazing. Sara is extremely helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. That’s what you need from someone to sell your property.
10th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)While the initial engagement was positive things went downhill. The listing was incorrect on some portals and the links to the virtual tour broken. This took numerous calls to get sorted. Communication back to me following viewings was poor and despite requests for statistics regarding online adverts I only received a basic summary as a one off.
15th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Truly the best experience in buying and selling a house you could possibly have<br><br>Neil and Peter were on it from the word go and ensured all transactions were completed very smoothly indeed<br><br>Their knowledge of the area is second to none and no stone went uncovered during the transactions<br><br>Using lawyers they recommended is imperative as they have great relationships with them and this ensures communication is good with agent, lawyer and buyers / sellers to ensure all know how to complete the transactions in a smooth and timely fashion<br><br>Well done to team village estates you were fantastic from start to finish

20th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)I had a really positive experience with Bridges Estate Agents in Caversham and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property.<br><br>From the initial valuation through to completion, the whole team were professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. They clearly know the Caversham market extremely well and gave sensible, realistic advice throughout rather than simply telling us what we wanted to hear.<br><br>The marketing of the property was excellent, with great photos and a well-presented listing, and they were proactive in arranging and managing viewings. Communication was also very good — we were kept updated with feedback, interest from potential buyers and any developments with the sale.<br><br>Once we had accepted an offer, they continued to be heavily involved rather than disappearing after the sale was agreed. They helped keep the chain moving, regularly chased solicitors and other parties where necessary, and kept us informed right through to exchange and completion. This made what can be quite a stressful process feel much more manageable.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with was friendly, responsive and professional, and it genuinely felt like they cared about getting the best outcome for us rather than simply getting the property sold as quickly as possible.<br><br>A great local estate agent and an excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bridges Caversham again.

22nd Jun 2026 (10 weeks ago)Very poor experience from start to finish. I called on Saturday and was told they would check with the current tenants and arrange a viewing. They booked me in for 15:00, but when I called to confirm they went silent and stopped responding.<br><br>I chased again on Monday and they rearranged the viewing for 13:15. I arrived at 13:17. As I pulled up in my car the agent was already leaving, and we made eye contact. It was obvious I was there for the property, yet he carried on walking off, later claiming he assumed I wasn't coming. He couldn't wait even two minutes. When he finally came back to show me the property, he was abrupt, barely spoke to me, and gave the impression he had no interest in showing it at all.<br><br>When I asked about any flexibility on the rent, he told me he already had four other offers, all at the full asking price of £1,375, and that all four had already paid deposits.<br><br>Afterwards I messaged to ask about the council tax and to let them know I liked the property and wanted to put in an offer. Again, no reply. They simply ghosted me.<br><br>A complete lack of basic customer service and common courtesy. I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

Their Haywards Heath team mainly Ceira Whittaker and Zoe Simpson who dealt with myself were always attentive and respectful, showing a level of professionalism that was a breath of fresh air compared to other companies. 23rd Mar 2026 (23 weeks ago)After years of being routinely disappointed by incredibly poor service of two large and well known managing agents, I contacted Eldridge Estates and they have been nothing short of brilliant. I cannot overstate how helpful Azadul was and has continued to be since he came to view my property. He arranged repair work, found great tenants quickly, and went out of his way to make things easier for me frequently. I wish I’d contacted E.E. years ago. It would have saved me countless headaches and a lot of money too. I high recommend them.
