17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.
31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

He has been incredibly helpful and responsive, as well as being friendly and patient. Again, highly recommend!

Even though he didn’t have to, he stepped in and helped us through our buying process while we were selling our property with another estate agent. His guidance, patience, and generosity with his time made such a difference for us. He made what could have been a very stressful experience feel far more manageable and reassuring.

9th Aug 2023 (2 years ago)Dean and Nicola handled our sale. The purchaser made the process drawn out and quite stressful but Dean and team were superb. In particular they were very responsive to all messages and communicated constantly - so even when the delays were stressful we had the very welcome contact and reassurance we needed. I have to say we were very a little embarrassed by the commission rate for the amount of work they did. Great value for money. Professional at all times and lovely to deal with. Big thank you. (Ps review site is odd - tapped the far right star in most cases and assume this registered 5*. It would be better if the stars turned gold so you knew for sure what you were scoring).

Came across a property managed by Bell homes and went to view it. Property was amazing and we loved it and started the whole process. Everything went very smooth, constant communication from Bell homes and we had the keys within 10 days. They were very professional, great communication and quick to resolve any issues we came across even extremely small things. They would have someone come out same day and fix install repair whatever it was. Extremely happy that we came across them and everything is finished now. Great team and would recommend them to any1 else that is looking to move. Thank you

20th Apr 2026 (14 weeks ago)Enquired about a property on 30th March by email, didn’t hear anything, so called the office every day for a week just to clarify if the property was still available, each time a team member took my details and said they would get the person dealing with the property to call me back. I never received a call, I then was given the direct number and email for the person dealing with the property so tried to contact them several times myself with no luck. It’s now 20th April, I never heard back Customer service is on the floor
18th May 2026 (10 weeks ago)We used Hancock’s Estates when we were looking to move across town, and they handled the whole process with a calm, professional manner that really put us at ease. The team were easy to get hold of, kept us updated without us having to chase, and were particularly helpful when a few bits of paperwork needed sorting at short notice. There was a proper sense that they knew the local market inside out, which made a big difference. Not quite perfect, as one or two replies took a touch longer than expected, but overall the service was very solid and the staff were courteous throughout. If you want an estate agent that feels organised, knowledgeable and refreshingly down-to-earth, Hancock’s Estates are well worth considering.
