13th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Bad experience here. I have been waiting for the return of deposit since 08/09/2024 (check-out date), at time of writing the date is 04/12/2024. Despite asking for updates and calling, I have not received any response from this agency for 2+ weeks. IMO, there are many other options in Bristol worth trying before Chase Buchanan Downend.

20th Mar 2026 (16 weeks ago)I wholeheartedly recommend Fine and Country to sell your property. My cottage, whilst beautiful was very niche and took a while to sell in this challenging market. Their marketing was second to none. The photos great and 360 video looked really professional. Clive, Helio and the support team were straight forward to work with and I trusted the advice they offered me. They made me feel I was client. Importantly, I always knew what was happening, they are proactive and genuinely on top of the details. My previous experience with other agents in the Stroud area was disappointing. They all had excellent skills in winning my business but lacked follow through once they had my property to market.

We have never had such proactive, caring, and personal service from any other agent with moving house. Totally changing the estate agent cliché. So much so I'd love to work with this company myself. 2nd Jul 2026 (7 days ago)Beware when they try to push you into their preferred property viewing time by saying 'it might get reserved'.<br><br>This is not true. Landlords choose from a list of interested tenants so you can't reserve a property.<br><br>Then you get ghosted if unsuccessful. Is it that hard to have the courtesy to send an email informing people?<br><br>One agency to avoid in the future.
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We saw a property we liked in ferndown and offered. Our offer was not accepted outright without giving us a chance to rethink the offer like the other agents did.emails back and forth no use. Saw the property had gone for a mere £1000 above our offer. The agent who showed us the property had already decided it was not to be given to us for some strange reason so I am not surprised. Also promised to keep their “ear on the ground “ to let us know if any other property came by in that area. Never heard from them again! Probably they have more clients they exclusively like to cater to so didn’t bother to with us. The property was a lovely one though so happy for whoever got it. But a big thumbs down for this estate agent unless you are one of those kind they wish to cater to. Helena

22nd May 2026 (7 weeks ago)We can’t thank Christian enough for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism he showed while helping us sell my late brother’s property. As the house had been in the family for many years and was where myself and my brother grew up, along with my children having spent their childhood here also, it was an especially emotional sale for all of us. Christian made a very difficult time so much easier with his patience, understanding, and support throughout the whole process. He always kept us updated, nothing was ever too much trouble, and we truly felt we could trust him every step of the way. We’re incredibly grateful for everything he did for us and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an estate agent who genuinely cares.

15th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Tenants and landlords look no further. You will not find greater professionalism, swift communication, industry experience and teamwork anywhere in Bath. Nicola Wilkes (Lettings) and Sharon Clesham (Sales) run a very slick operation and whatever your needs (a new home to rent or letting a new or existing rental property) they will guide you through the process to complete satisfaction. I say this having been a landlord with them for many years and recently been introduced (by Nicola) to another investment opportunity. I am nothing short of amazed by the sleek communication between Sales and Lettings and myself (these ladies know more about property than anyone you’ll meet in Bath and they and their teams are a real pleasure to work with). What I want out of rental property is a great investment but ONLY if my tenants are happy. I need them well looked after and at the top of my agent’s priority list. With the Apartment Company tenants are the priority. And yet this outstanding company deliver more financially to me than any other agent we’ve used in Bath. If you don’t make money, they don’t make money so its a win-win. If you are a first-time landlord and considering a move to renting in Bath (but not sure the best way to go about this), talk to Nicola and Sharon. You won’t regret it. If I was buying a new home for myself, Sharon is the first person I’d call. One final thing…..I noticed a comment that they didn’t always call back if you made an enquiry. Well, if you are Bath’s premier property agency and everyone wants to talk to you, well, yes, you may have to wait a day or so for a reply to a speculative call. No-one wants a company whose sitting about waiting for the phone to ring, do they?! You want an agent whose out there keeping it together for people like me, like my tenants (at the height of a pandemic with vastly reduced staff). Always an impeccable service that goes beyond your expectations. Thank you Sharon and Nicola and everyone at The Apartment Company.

We had originally placed our house on the market in April 2024, but we knew our circumstances were difficult and meant a move may not be possible. Lloyd was patient and supportive and when it unfortunately fell through, he reassured us that he would help when we were ready to go again. We put the house back on the market in June 2025 and our experience again was brilliant, will constant and clear communication. Thank you Lloyd for helping us take the next steps in our lives.
