9th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)I cannot recommend this rental. They show no respect for tenants. Our confirmed move?in date was suddenly delayed. While the house appeared clean on the surface, it was very dirty internally, and they refused to fix pre?move?in defects. Countless emails and phone calls brought no meaningful resolution. Old and broken appliances, poor hygiene, and highly unprofessional customer service.

Whenever I had any questions, concerns or maintenance issues during my tenancy, the team responded very quickly and made sure everything was dealt with promptly. I really appreciated that I never had to keep chasing them — they were always responsive and helpful.<br><br>Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, polite and approachable, which made the whole renting experience much easier and less stressful. It was clear that they genuinely cared about resolving any issues and making sure everything was running smoothly.<br><br>They also use the Goodlord platform, which made the tenancy process, documents and payments straightforward and well organised. At the end of my tenancy, the checkout and deposit return process was also handled without any problems.<br><br>Overall, I was very happy renting through this company. Ayad was incredibly helpful throughout our apartment search, making the process of finding and securing our new home much easier. Anne was also wonderful, always responsive and attentive to our questions and needs, both during the rental process and after we moved in. We really appreciated their professionalism and support throughout the whole experience and would definitely recommend Messila!

If I'm honest, I was not expecting the quality of service I got, because the flat I was selling is a relatively low-value property; I figured the team would save their energy for homes nearer the top end of the market, but they absolutely did not. Initially I got a realistic idea of likely selling price from Charlie, who was both helpful and knowledgeable (he clearly knew my market segment). Senan did the first viewing ... and then I started to worry if I'd made the right decision about my agent because then Richard brought someone round, and then Pierce - where was the consistency, and how would this impact my customer service? Turns out I was completely wrong in my assumptions: all three members of the sales team gave me nothing but excellent support, and they also kept in touch with each other about what progress was being made so service was seamless whoever I spoke to. Once I had an offer, they were brilliant liaising with the buyer; and - critically - they gave me timely and well-placed advice to ensure that I could move things along as quickly as possible at my end when other organisations were causing delays. Not only did I get first-class service but the whole team are as friendly a bunch as you could wish for. I recommend them wholeheartedly (I never thought I would ever say that about an estate agent!) and would choose them again every time.

Selecting Laurence Leigh Residential was an important decision for us as we were selling our family home of the past 18 years. Laurence provided excellent market colour while also listening to our views. We agreed upon a listing price and after receiving several bids accepted one that was within 5% of our listing price. Laurence and his colleagues Anne and Guy are an outstanding estate agency.

Dan quickly generated an amazing number of viewings and multiple offers, so many, in fact, that we soon stopped using multiple agents and relied entirely on him. After a few setbacks with buyers, Dan was undeterred and went right back to work with positivity and optimism. He secured a truly great offer for us and handheld the entire process brilliantly, all the way through to exchange. Dealing with Dan was an absolute pleasure; he is personable, incredibly astute, and makes what can be a stressful process feel straightforward. I would work with him again without hesitation.
