He found us fantastic tenants and made renting a simple process with no issues . When we later on sold the property he was fantastic. In fact the whole process just took a few months. He found a buyer quickly and helped explain anything to us that we did not understand. From start to finish proctors have been brilliant. And I highly recommend them for tenancies and selling| buying.
19th Apr 2023 (3 years ago)Thank you to Debbie Anderson in particular who if it wasn't for you, I don't think our sale would of been possible. She constantly kept everyone in the loop. Was very patient as at some times I was really stressed. The sale took months to go through, but finally today we completed. Thank you everyone at Park Estates. You're a great team.

18th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)I had a misfortune of bidding on a property and winning the bid with this estate agency. I immediately paid for a search pack and booked a surveyor only two months into the process to be told that the property hasn't been registered on land registry and it will take a year to sort it out. Really disappointed in Doug Paterson who should have checked this before putting this property on the market. They cost me a lot of money and time.<br><br>Update: since I posted the review above Doug contacted me and tried to blackmail me into removing this review saying he might provide information to my home buyers insurance provider which would invalidate my claim!
10th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)I sold my house through JDM recently. I had lots of viewings and accepted an offer in the first week. Lea Carty was particularly helpful in following up with the solicitors and dealing with the enquiries. I managed to move house in a few months and whole process went through as smoothly as possible.

15th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)I would genuinely recommend using Truepenny’s Charlton if you want to sell your property. From the initial valuation (which was much more realistic that other overly inflated figures from other estate agents) the service by the team in the Charlton branch was excellent. We were trying to sell our flat in an already difficult market but Bhavi and David secured many viewings over the summer and finally an offer was made. The team were always available to help and nudge things along. I’d happily use them again.

Sienna and Jacob showed prospective buys around and both were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Jacob kept in touch regularly with updates when we had a buyer and was very easy to work with. I appreciate all the work that was put into getting the sale across the line and I would highly recommend Langford Russell if considering putting your property on the market.

15th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)The experience was good as far as the agent's work and effort goes and the very high number of visits it hosted (49). Also, Andrew always had a cheerful and positive attitude and responded promptly to my enquiries. The market coverage was good since we got a lot of interest from the market. However the product turned out not to be positioned correctly since staging the property through the use of AI, per agent's recommendation, was not the right move as this only attracted buyers expecting to see a turn-key project and were disappointed at discovering the actual condition of the property. In other words the initial ad did not reflect the property appearance and was counterproductive since we got the wrong kind of buyer at almost every visit.. As a result there was only one offer out of as many as 49 visitors (a disappointing result) and the price I had to agree to was quite a bit less than both what I had expected and also what the agent had assessed the property to be worth initially before pressing me hard to reduce the price considerably. Therefore, I have mixed feelings about my experience though I am confident Truepenny's would do better in selling turn-key projects as opposed to houses needing work.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

My brother and I were selling our mums house and we both live in different countries. Despite this challenge, the staff at Thomas Brown kept is updated at every turn

9th Jun 2026 (26 days ago)5 starts purely for Kyra Naomi, we ended up enduring a 9month sale that was not straight forward and Kyra was attentive the entire time. Most people in this situation would give up or not be bothered as it took so long but Kyra was always on the phone or available by text never an issue. Great employee. TA did not act on behalf of me but Kyra was great to deal with.
14th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Dane at Oaks in South Norwood was a breath of fresh air - yes most agents can be annoying and hard work and yes its part of their job! Dane made this whole slightly painful process as good as it can be - he was communicative (sooo important), thorough and i felt he was honest as well and I built a trustful relationship with him. Would def recommend using Oaks and would use them again although not planning on moving again for a while!

2nd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)I was unable to sell my flat for around a year with the mainstream estate agents but on our third attempt we decided to go with Pullen estate agents and sold within 4 weeks. Tom was very helpful and communicative all the way through the selling process whilst also managing our sale on a personal level giving us the attention that we definitely lacked from other providers all for a very reasonable fee. I would 100% recommend using Pullen estate agents to anyone looking to sell their property in a swift and efficient manor. Thanks again Tom!

I have been a tenant in this property for the past five years and I can say for free that she has been one, if not the best property manager that I have encountered.
