I have used Bairstowe eves agents in Nottingham in the past and have done so again. We recently sold a property through Bairstow Eves Sutton-in-Ashfield and from start to finish the whole team were professional, supportive, and kept us informed every step of the way.
A special thank you to Ebony, who made what was an emotional process following the loss of a much-loved family member as smooth and manageable as possible. We used Bairstow Eves in Wollaton to sell my mums house a few weeks ago. To their credit the house sold quick. The downside however, was the conveyancer they recommend, they were atrocious and tested our patience on more than one occasion. Beware, use a local solicitor, who you can contact easily and knows what they are doing. Italia however, was a true superstar and saved my sanity on more than one occasion, in pushing the conveyancer for answers. Thank you Italia.

A BIG THANK YOU to Mark Waterfall for assisting myself and my husband Russ with our remortgage request. Nothing was to much trouble for Mark and in actual fact when the first lender decided to be pedantic - Mark was immediately on the case and secured an even more competitive rate with another lender.. Very irritating experience. As shown in my screenshot, I have received several calls from you, and every single time I have clearly told you YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. I am not selling a property — I was only a tenant.
Each time, you apologise, promise my number will be removed, and then claim “the system takes time to update.” Really? 3 -8 months? That excuse is wearing thin.
Your last call was on Monday, where I was again reassured that my number would finally be taken off your system. To stop the disturbance during my workday, I even blocked your number — yet unbelievably, you still managed to leave me a voicemail today - your contact even seems to be increasing!
At this point, your persistence feels relentless, intrusive, and completely unacceptable.
For the sake of my sanity:
Remove, delete, and block my number from your system immediately.
This whole situation could have been avoided if you had simply done what you said you would do the first time. Instead, I’m left dealing with behaviour that comes across as either spiteful or incompetent.
P.S I am for some reason unable to attach the screenshot of the call log of harassment!

Bairstowe Eves Clifton worked with the sellers of the house we’ve just completed on.
Despite working with the sellers side rather than with us directly, they were incredibly helpful. Emma especially was always at the end of the email and happy to help us- which was so useful as we were first time buyers.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
I had a very POOR experience with this estate agent and landlord regarding a tenancy at 65 NOTTINGHAM ROAD, ILKESTON, DE7 5NN.
At the end of my tenancy, there were ongoing issues with the return of my deposit which were stressful and time-consuming to deal with. Communication was inconsistent, and I did not feel the process was handled in a clear or transparent manner.
Overall, the experience fell well below expectations, particularly at the end of the tenancy. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting here to carefully document the property condition, keep records of all communication, and fully understand their rights before signing or leaving the property.
