31st March Offered on a bungalow for mum to live in, completed on 21st May, her house valued on 20th May by William h brown Dewsbury, sold on 22nd and completes tomorrow 3rd July, it was clearly meant to be as everything could not have come together more smoothly. Used all WHB services for the sale and its completion.

I can’t thank Daniel enough for my lovely experience into getting mine and my children’s new home. From the moment of enquiry he was just brilliant, kind, personable and most importantly great at his job. Super informative and quick to respond to any queries.<br>From start to finish everything has been smooth sailing and honestly every member of the team I have interacted with have been just as good!<br>Our new home is beautiful, there were a couple of advisories that needed sorting and I have had an electrician and a window man out with in a week to get things sorted, they were also very professional.<br><br>If I could give more stars to Daniel I would, he deserves it.

Our experience trying to sell our property with William H Brown was extremely disappointing and ultimately quite disastrous.
Before we signed with them, the team were highly proactive in their communication and sales pitch. We were promised consistent outreach to potential buyers, regular updates, detailed analytics, and valuable insights throughout the sales process. Unfortunately, the reality after signing the contract was completely different.
Communication quickly became poor and reactive rather than proactive. We repeatedly found ourselves having to chase the team for updates and manually intervene to ensure viewers were actually being followed up with after property visits. In several cases, it appeared that little-to-no meaningful follow-up had been carried out unless we specifically requested it.
There also seemed to be a lack of organisation and visibility around prospective buyers. The team often appeared unsure about where leads were in their decision-making process, whether further conversations had taken place, or what objections buyers may have had. This left us feeling as though there was no clear sales strategy or ownership of the process.
Given the fees involved, we expected a far more professional, engaged, and proactive service. Instead, we were left feeling frustrated, unsupported, and lacking confidence that our property sale was being managed effectively.
In the end, after a few months with WHB and no real leads for the sale of our house, we ended up going with another local estate agents who sold our house within a month.
Overall, we would not recommend William H Brown based on our experience.

WM Brown and in particular a young lady called Erin, have been extremely helpful throughout both our own house sale and our purchase of a new home in Norfolk. As we were selling privately (no estate agent), it was difficult for us to chase the progress of our own sale chain, yet Erin was helpful with this as well as ensuring all went smoothly with our purchase. All questions we had were answered promptly and she was always proactive, with a cheery, yet thoroughly professional approach. On a general point, we found Wm Brown in Watton, and other branches in Swaffham, Downham Market, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, to name just a few, have proved probably the most proactive chain of estate agents throughout our near year long search for a new home.
