Very grateful to Duncan and Daniel who helped us overcome many hurdles over an extended period of time due to issues - outside of ours and their control - within the chain. 16th Feb 2021 (5 years ago)Estate agent didn't bother to provide address or phone number that you could contact them on so after wasting £40 on fuel and 4 hours, estate agent didn't even bother to turn up. Claimed they were in the office below the house but didn't leave any indication anyone was present. Stood 15 minutes out in the cold and not once if they were there did they bother to check outside (especially if we didn't have a house number). Add on top the lying about street parking in the area making the travel useless even if they bothered to turn up. No real apologies just "we were there". There or not absolutely no effort to check we were there or help to find the property. Landlords avoid as no one will show future tenants around.

So when it came to finding someone to handle the sale of my flat I had no hesitation in asking them to do the job. They liaised seamlessly with my solicitor and everything went through without a hitch in just 4 months.

They were persistent, empathetic and kept in touch. They have kept an eye on the place since it has been empty and honestly they couldn't have been more helpful. I really would recommend them. Quite honestly, they are the full package and their friendly staff are second to none.

13th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Edited to reply: I'm sorry Andrew but I haven't had anyone visit about the mould previously you must be referring to previous tenants. I have only ever had visits for radiator issues, a broken cupboard door and the routine inspections. I have never actually been at home for an inspection either. I have also had no email contact with you, only Amy and Luka whereby I am lucky if they respond without me double emailing them. A contractor did visit on the weekend and said there are numerous issues that should have been addressed a long time ago. Can I also ask, if you were aware there were mould issues a long time ago why this has never been mentioned and why was there such a delay in rectifying the problem?I can assure you that any 'poor ventilation' is through no fault of our own given that we purchased a dehumidifier, keep the radiator on every day and have the bathroom window open constantly. Currently a tenant and the communication is horrendous. I have been chasing up a mould issue for over 2 months and I'm lucky to get a response let alone someone be sent out. I've had to contact environmental health as my emails are often ignored. Such a shame as they were initially super helpful when moving in. I'd personally avoid.
8th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Su Leeburn was my agent. Chose her over a few other estate agents who give quotes. Mostly for her local knowledge and personable approach. I only dealt with her and she did all of the viewings so was able to give great feedback. Once we had found buyers offering a reasonable price she negotiated a better price and kept me informed. The sale went well from exchange to completion and Su was able to manage the expectations of the buyer. Took about 6 months from initial listing to completion. A great service at every stage.
