We were abroad during the sale and Aidan was a fantastic help in ensuring the sale went through in a few months. No matter what time of the day he made himself available to speak and guide us through each step. Probably the best experience I have ever had with an individual estate agent.

She was absolutely amazing in helping me with my tenancy name change, guiding me through the process with such care and attention. She went above and beyond at every step, making what could have been stressful feel completely manageable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her thoughtfulness and attention to detail really stood out. I’m so grateful for her support and outstanding customer service it truly made all the difference.

The amount of work behind the scenes to keep everything on track was immense, and their persistence truly made the difference. What stood out most was the additional support they provided by sharing insights and promoting through social media, which was invaluable during such a difficult market. Their commitment to quality and personal service really shone through and gave us confidence every step of the way. On a personal note, we are very grateful to have been introduced to Hunters which was an extremely difficult time for us. Their professionalism and genuine care made the experience much easier, and we honestly appreciate everything they did. Alex was extremely communicative and supportive, helping to navigate through some challenging complexities with HelpToBuy and the flats Management companies. This was handled with professionalism and knowledge, helping to make the process as stress free as possible. We are so grateful for both Mark and Alex for everything they did and all their hard work. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to sell or buy in the area.
11th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)I recently chose Butler & Stag to find a tenant for my flat and manage the tenancy. I felt that their evaluation of the market and suggested rental price was more realistic than other agents, which meant that the lettings team secured a tenant for the flat very quickly, and their management fees are very competitive. So far my experiences with the management team looking after my property have been very positive - a direct line to someone who picks up, and communication has been responsive and reliable. He delivered the best deal for us as vendors in a challenging and competitive market.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Sales progression then drove the sale by keeping up communication with our buyers, smoothing the way which resulted in a sale within 3 months.
