10th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)I wouldn't rent from Holly. I have encountered many estate agents in my life fortunately some still have their humanity and will take each case as it comes. Some are programmed robots who just repeat what they have been told. I am so glad I am a human being with my humanity still in tact. Can't say the same for Holly. So glad I won't be renting from Hamptons. So glad I got to choose a career path that actually contributes to the greater good of humanity.
19th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)We engaged Century 21 to sell a leasehold flat in Pimlico. There were some quite difficult aspects involved and these were handled professionally, as well as courteously, by Andrea Frigo, the lead conveyancer. The result was a successful sale, satisfactory to all parties. We would not hesitate for a second to use this company again or to recommend it to others.
19th May 2022 (3 years ago)We’re first time buyers and John D Wood were selling the home we were buying. We were shown our new home by George who was lovely. Julian in the team managed everything else, and the man is a saint. I was stressed to say the least between work and trying to buy a house in a short timeframe. No matter how testy I got, he was patient, friendly and supportive. I can’t speak highly enough of Julian, and when we eventually sell in the future he’ll be the first person we go to. Julian thank you so much for your amazing service.

31st May 2024 (1 year ago)I had the worst experience of my life with them and Featherstone Leigh , my son has a permanent asthma and breathing issue from the flat they have rented me. I was not able to stay in the flat for over two months , no alternative was offered to me and my family, being homeless due to the smell of damp, water leak has costed me a lot of money and stress. Useless team all they care about is their rent it be paid , they have breached their contract on so many occasions, they failed . Do not get fooled by those good reviews!

5th Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)My experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing. From the start, communication was almost impossible — we called and sent several messages for over a week before anyone responded. When someone finally did, they were rude and even hung up on us. Despite that, we gave them another chance and eventually managed to view a property we were genuinely interested in. Throughout the process, there was no accountability, no apology for the poor communication, and very little professionalism. After making an offer, we were told the landlord needed tenants to move in within a week, which was completely unrealistic. We waited days for updates, only to be told later that we should continue our search elsewhere. This entire process wasted two weeks of our time and left us feeling disrespected and frustrated. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this agency unless they seriously improve their communication, professionalism, and respect for clients.

She has been brilliant at finding a buyer for my house, as well as managing the whole sale process until the very end. Great communication, strong drive for results and very helpful perspective in a challenging context. I would recommend Fabienne without any hesitation if you are looking to buy or sell a property in Chiswick.

10th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)Average experience. Lack of transparency and urgency in completing the sale procedure. It took 6 months from acceptance of offer to complete the deal. Lack of continuity from one person in dealing with customer. Sandeep and Jas were always helpful. Nakhita who was dealing with our case in last few months was very unprofessional and unapproachable, rude , abrupt and at times very disrespectful. Not happy with Nakhita’s behaviour at all. Sandeep was a big help indeed.
2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Two reviews in one: one as a long term landlord and one as a sales agent. LANDLORD: I have been a landlord with Horton & Garton for 17 years. Since meeting John in 2008, I have been exceptionally pleased with the letting agent, landlord relationship. John’s team’s market knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail and ability to work effectively with me being an overseas landlord with an 11 hour time difference has been invaluable. As a landlord, expect the human touch, pragmatism, practical and cost effective solutions to fixes, refurbishment. I can count the void period on my London flat in weeks on one hand - an achievement over a seventeen year period and testimony to the teams ability to attract contract and sustain lasting lease relationships. I would recommend John and team whole heartedly. SALES AGENT: John and Emma Mackie have successful sold my flat in Hammersmith. Initial my London flat and do the last 17 years a rental investment. John and Emma effectively appraised the flat, helped me get cost effective and excellent decorators to ready it for sale and ran a successful campaign resulting in 5 sealed bids. Emma and John were highly effective, personable and insightful throughout the sales process and helped my wife and I navigate the usual complexities of selling a house coupled with myself being based in a different time zone. We were delighted with the sale and would highly recommend Emma and John to handle similar transactions. Many thanks to John, Emma and the entire Horton & Garton team ! Thank you

He was efficient, communicated clearly, and kept me regularly updated throughout. I always knew what was happening and what the next steps were, which gave me real confidence in the process. He also took the time to explain everything along the way, which I really appreciated. A big thank you as well to Charity, who was very kind, helpful, and supportive throughout the process. Overall, a very positive experience and I’m really grateful for all the support from the team at Cow & Co.

2nd Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Our house sale went through today thanks to the team at Gibbs Gillespie...big shout out for Abraham Oommen, who, as a local man with over 20 years experience as an estate agent, has invaluable knowledge...he handled the sale with humour and courtesy...there was a tear in my eye as I viewed the property for the last time...my parents had lived there over 60 years and I was brought home there as a new born baby in 1947..now the house lives again with another young family...thanks Abraham and Adam for a painless sale.
25th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)Daniel and his team delivered exactly as they set out from the start - particularly impressive as they took over from another agent who had not done so. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly, they understood that the vendor is their client. The post-sale agreed service was outstanding. Their dedicated team liaised proactively with the buyer, solicitors, and surveyors. This was an element of the process we had perhaps underestimated. Having that support made the final stages far smoother than they might otherwise have been. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fine & Country Chiswick/Ealing.
