The difference is they know the local area, understand the market and they don’t just rely on all the usual property portals - they proactively market the property. I would highly recommend both the Knowle and Balsall Common office if you are thinking of buying or selling.

From arranging the viewing to helping me through every stage of the process, he has always been friendly and professional, not to mention incredibly helpful too.<br><br>Even though my purchase hasn't completed yet, Charlie has kept me updated every step of the way, always responds to my questions and makes sure I'm informed about what's happening. Buying a property for the first time can be stressful, but his communication and support have made the process much smoother.<br><br>I really appreciate all the time and effort Charlie has put in so far and would highly recommend Charlie to anyone looking to buy a property. 6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Extremely disappointing and weak service. Martin and Co presided over the collapse of our house sale after 7 months and in the week we were due to exchange after having spent a large amount of money and time. We’ve complained to the Ombudsman and are confident they will find in our favour. We would NOT recommend Martin and Co, and particularly so called ‘consultant’ Carl Hemming in any way.

Unusual circumstances and difficult market was neatly handled and top client base secured a sale for me. In regards to the service that was provided, personal, professional and supportive throughout. I was never once in the dark and Clare helped make sure that everything went smoothly as possible. 100% would recommend and 100% trust.

Unlike big corporate agents you get a full personal service from purchase and sale all the way through until completion, taking away all the stress involved with buying and selling property.<br>Having used them several times I can highly recommend them for buying selling and rentals

21st Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agency and would strongly encourage anyone considering renting, buying or selling through them to think carefully.<br>After progressing through the rental application process, our application was withdrawn at the very last minute with little communication or explanation. We were then told that the landlord wanted to increase the rent. Despite agreeing to the higher rent to avoid losing the property, the agency failed to keep us informed of the outcome or provide any meaningful updates.<br>The lack of communication and consideration caused an incredible amount of unnecessary stress. We have two young children and had spent the weekend preparing for our move. We were around 90% packed and ready to leave, only to be left in limbo with no answers.<br>To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint about how the situation was handled, but no proper complaints procedure has been followed and no genuine attempt has been made to address or resolve my concerns.<br>I understand that landlords can change their minds and that not every tenancy proceeds as planned. However, the way this agency handled the situation was unprofessional, inconsiderate and lacking in basic communication. A simple update or honest explanation would have made a significant difference.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency. If you're looking to rent, buy or sell through them, be aware that communication and customer care may fall well below what you would reasonably expect.

18th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

Everyone has been friendly, approachable and genuinely easy to deal with.<br><br>It’s lovely to be able to ring the office and speak to someone who knows who you are, rather than being passed from department to department. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and whenever I’ve had a question or needed help, it’s always been dealt with quickly and professionally.<br><br>A special thank you to Luke and the whole team for always being so helpful. It’s refreshing to receive such personal service, and I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for a letting agent.
