Alex was easy to arrange the appointment with, and she was friendly, compassionate and professional throughout. She made the whole process feel straightforward and comfortable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or the agency.
27th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Cannot recommend Joel and his team in Wells high enough. First class service and customer care. Regular updates on viewings with sound feedback. Once a potential buyer was secured, the team of four monitored the progress of the conveyancing law firms of both the buyer and ourselves, and what a bonus that was when ‘lethargy’ appeared to have ‘rooted’ itself in the process on several occasions. The commission was sensible and they deserved every penny. ????
15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)This wasn’t just buying and selling a house; it was a full-blown James Bond mission involving sleepless nights, spreadsheets, plot twists and a mortgage lender who seemed determined to be the villain!<br>We spotted our dream home on Rightmove, but our own house wasn’t even on the market. Enter Holly and Neil at Tor Estates, who took on the challenge with incredible patience, professionalism and determination. From advice on preparing our home to changing photos and reassuring me through countless visits to the office, nothing was ever too much trouble.<br>Within weeks, we had a buyer for our home, and our offer on our dream house was accepted. Then our mortgage lender of 27 years pulled the rug from underneath us.<br>Enter Gavin from Tor Finance, our mortgage superhero! He worked tirelessly to find a solution, keeping in touch while I was working away and navigating obstacle after obstacle. His dedication was outstanding, and we genuinely couldn't have done it without him.<br>Holly, Neil and Gavin went above and beyond. They didn't just do their jobs; they supported us through one of the most stressful experiences of our lives and helped turn a potential disaster into a happy ending.<br>If you're buying or selling, I cannot recommend Tor Estates highly enough. 29th Nov 2023 (2 years ago)The branch Manager Samuel Masters and his team were extremely efficient and have ensured a quick sale offer on our property .The marketing on On the Market and right move was excellent and quick and the photographs and the details written up on the brochure resulted in quite a few viewings and several people expressed interest but had to sell their own property.

Hailey was brilliant, she was so lovely showing us around and answering all our questions. She was very knowledgeable about the houses she showed to us and we truly appreciated her support. Advice given was rude and unlawful, these guys have a dangerous perspective where they make every effort to ensure that the advice given serves their interests only, even if that advice is unlawful and totally fabricated. Please be warned, they are convicing and pushy.

15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Despite having our lovely mid-Devon country property on the market at a difficult time, in terms of over-supply and wide ranging financial concerns, Tom Folland, a Director at Strutt and Parker, has done a brilliant job for us dealing with a difficult and protracted sale, including a sometimes unstable chain. It has been so good to have an agent who has communicated with us all the way through the process, keeping us in the loop with everything we needed to know about. Tom has stayed calm and professional even when the process was driving us a little crazy because it felt so precarious and uncertain. Tom has been patient, kind and considerate, and we couldn’t recommend Strutt and Parker more highly for achieving a good sale - a terrific result especially in such a slow and uncertain market.- 6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)We dealt with George Nicholson for the purchase of our house in Salisbury and found him helpful, responsive and proactive.
