19th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)We appointed Sam Daniels at Knight Frank Bath to sell our house after meeting several local agents, and he proved to be an excellent choice.<br><br>From the outset, Sam was exceptionally well prepared. He had researched the local market in detail, explained his recommended pricing clearly, and set out a convincing and realistic sales strategy — including what was worth doing to prepare the house and, just as importantly, what was not necessary. His local knowledge was excellent, but what impressed me most was the quality of his judgement: thoughtful, straightforward and commercially astute without ever feeling pushy.<br><br>Throughout the sale, Sam was consistently responsive, reliable and easy to deal with. He communicated promptly, explained developments clearly and handled potentially awkward situations calmly and intelligently. When there was competing interest, and later an unexpected fall-through, he reacted quickly and kept the process moving.<br><br>One of the factors that influenced us when choosing Knight Frank was Sam’s explanation of how the team works and his very strong record of progressing agreed sales through to completion. Having now experienced the process, I can see why. He remained actively involved after the offer was accepted, communicated effectively with the conveyancers and helped navigate the transaction through to completion.<br><br>The house sold quickly at the asking price, but beyond the outcome itself, I particularly valued Sam’s professionalism, honesty, tact and sound judgement throughout. I always felt that he was acting in our interests and that we could rely on what he said. I would recommend Sam and Knight Frank in Bath very highly.

Alex was easy to arrange the appointment with, and she was friendly, compassionate and professional throughout. She made the whole process feel straightforward and comfortable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her or the agency.

15th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)This wasn’t just buying and selling a house; it was a full-blown James Bond mission involving sleepless nights, spreadsheets, plot twists and a mortgage lender who seemed determined to be the villain!<br>We spotted our dream home on Rightmove, but our own house wasn’t even on the market. Enter Holly and Neil at Tor Estates, who took on the challenge with incredible patience, professionalism and determination. From advice on preparing our home to changing photos and reassuring me through countless visits to the office, nothing was ever too much trouble.<br>Within weeks, we had a buyer for our home, and our offer on our dream house was accepted. Then our mortgage lender of 27 years pulled the rug from underneath us.<br>Enter Gavin from Tor Finance, our mortgage superhero! He worked tirelessly to find a solution, keeping in touch while I was working away and navigating obstacle after obstacle. His dedication was outstanding, and we genuinely couldn't have done it without him.<br>Holly, Neil and Gavin went above and beyond. They didn't just do their jobs; they supported us through one of the most stressful experiences of our lives and helped turn a potential disaster into a happy ending.<br>If you're buying or selling, I cannot recommend Tor Estates highly enough. Hailey was brilliant, she was so lovely showing us around and answering all our questions. She was very knowledgeable about the houses she showed to us and we truly appreciated her support. I would 100% recommend,
9th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)Amazing landlords when they need your money, will tell you want you want to hear but once they have what they need financially they kick you to the kerb.. telling you the property is yours for as long as you want… they giving you a bull story as to why they need the property back… taking you for your full deposit and then re letting the property for a higher price.

Both were incredibly helpful with anything we needed, no matter how big or small, and were always happy to answer our questions and reassure us whenever we had any worries.<br><br>They were friendly, approachable, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to help. They pass on all tenant concerns and enquiries and keep us informed of any repairs needed. They are fair and scrupulous in all matters regarding change of tenancy and rental decisions and adjustments. At all times I was kept informed with clear lines of communication and clear points of contact, who were always available to me. Throughout the journey I felt supported and professionally guided.
