They provide excellent support from start to finish and are always there to help. The stock at the West London houses are particularly fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring support.
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Emily and her team were exceptional and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It really does make all the difference to deal with consummate professionals! For the discerning buyer/seller - I would have no hesitation whatsoever in using Batcheller Monkhouse. ??????
2nd Apr 2026 (13 weeks ago)I let one of their employees cross the road in front of my car on Greyhound lane, SW16 yesterday. This guy decided to walk in the road, preventing me from driving and resulting in the lights turning red. This shows an arrogance and a lack of consideration for others. Don't sell your house with these (PROFANE LANGUAGE WAS CENSORED).

Neil and Angus were incredibly professional, had great communication and I would definitely recommended and use them personally again in the future.

Never any pressure and always making time to talk to us as the sale and the negotiations progressed. A perfect experience of house-buying!
1st Jul 2026 (4 days ago)The best experience that I have had with a lettings agency. Professional yet friendly. Lisa went above and way beyond the service that I expected. She turned the rental around very quickly and connected me with people in the local area. Helen was also great and stepped in when Lisa was out on a visit. Lisa has followed up with me without having to be chased. Lisa and Helen both explained processes clearly and made me feel comfortable to come back with any questions. First class experience.

He always goes above and beyond to ensure clear communication and is able to deal with and understand complexities. In my opinion, there is no better estate agent in Brighton. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I put all faith in to them and they delivered.<br>Special mention to Madi who was assigned to us selling a parkhome.<br>She was on the ball and knew exactly the process to get it over the line.

Our chain was quite complex, but Keira handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and constant communication. She really understood how important it was for us to move before our baby arrives and has worked incredibly hard to help make that happen. A big thank you as well to Dan, who managed to secure a buyer for our flat despite a very saturated market. We're so grateful for their support and dedication during what was quite a stressful time. They were professional, knowledgeable, supportive, responsive and reliable. Communication was excellent. Advice was on point. They were really proactive and moved things forward well, without ever creating any unnecessary stress for me. I would definitely use them again in the future and genuinely can’t recommend them highly enough.

It felt like she truly cared about us and the seller and she was always on hand to talk to us when we needed. The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.
