Ollie valued our home and gave great insight into the current market and made us feel confident Rowland Gorringe was the right estate agents for us. Harry worked really hard to get good viewings, have really useful feedback and was responsive when we had questions. We couldn't have been happier with the service they provided as well as the wider team, including Megan and Rupert. Thanks again and I would highly recommend this estate agents for both selling and buying

Our journey began with a first viewing for a property that didn't quite meet our expectations, but Oakley was incredibly kind to immediately inform us that a larger, more suitable flat had just become available. Furthermore, they kindly arranged a viewing for this new property on the same day without requiring a separate appointment. Also, throughout the entire process, they provided all necessary information and details at every step, ensuring any questions we had were addressed promptly. I highly recommend Oakley to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative agent who cares about their clients' needs.

Emily and her team were exceptional and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It really does make all the difference to deal with consummate professionals! 30th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)Update (2026):<br><br>Seven years after buying our first home through Freeman Foreman, we decided to sell. We invited them back to value our home alongside other local agents, and they were the clear choice.<br><br>Stuart was experienced, honest, friendly and personable from the outset. Erin was our main point of contact throughout the sale and she was absolutely fantastic. She was always easy to reach, kept us updated after every viewing, communicated brilliantly with our buyers, and genuinely went above and beyond to keep everything moving. Both Stuart and Erin are genuinely lovely people and an absolute pleasure to deal with.<br><br>The only slight downside was the recommended Countrywide conveyancers, but Erin regularly stepped in to chase updates and keep everything on track.<br><br>Freeman Foreman have now helped us both buy and sell the same home, seven years apart, and they've been consistently honest, supportive and professional throughout. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.<br><br>---<br><br>Original review (2019):<br><br>As first-time buyers, Natasha, John and Hannah were so patient, honest and supportive throughout the whole process. 10th Jan 2026 (25 weeks ago)Extremely poor experience as block management . Basic management tasks were not carried out, instructions were repeatedly ignored, and financial records were inconsistent. Communication was defensive, aggressive rather than constructive when issues were raised, and the firm resigned abruptly without a proper handover instead of rectifying the issues, The service fell well below the standard expected of a professional managing agent … well obviously they are not professional! Not recommended , stay well away from !!
7th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)we were looking for a surveyor for the home we wanted to buy and contacted alot came across charles wycherley estatre agents who also do surveyers reports.well what can i say excellent service and a lovely man who was very knowledgable of the area.a kind man who took the time to go through our report if you need a surveyor or buy or sell your home charles is the person to go through .when i sell my home at some point i will go to charles 5 stars
27th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Very poor communication. No contact unless prompted by myself and only 2 viewings generated, one of which didn’t go ahead due to an issue with the keys, however I wasn’t informed until I called for feedback 5 days later.

I had been looking for over 3 years for the right property in Lewes and having met and had dealings with most of the other local Estate Agents I can say that my relationship with Lewes Estates was one of the best. They were always friendly, pro-active and professional in dealing with my enquiries and kept me fully updated throughout the process.

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

13th Jun 2026 (22 days ago)Very disappointing experience. Ruby called us on Wednesday to arrange a viewing for Saturday morning at 10am. We received an email with 2 attachments of the tenancy fees and how to rent guide, however no confirmation of the viewing or the full address of the property. We then followed up twice in the next 2 days, however we received no response.<br>As we both work, we specifically arranged this viewing before work and adjusted our plans to make it happen. We were about to give up and send an email to cancel the viewing as we did not receive any communication from the agency, however at 7am in the morning of the appointment we finally received a text confirming the viewing. We then travelled for almost an hour to meet the agent.<br>At 9:45am, just 15 minutes before the scheduled viewing, my partner received a call informing us that the viewing had been cancelled. By that point we were already walking down the street where the property is located.<br>The lack of communication and the extremely late cancellation showed a complete lack of consideration for our time. Had Ruby responded to our emails or informed us earlier that the viewing could not go ahead, we could have avoided wasting our entire morning before work.<br>Based on this experience I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

19th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)G whizz.<br>Well, I will try to be concise because it would be very easy to write heaps about how amazingly communicative, informative and supportive Georgia was through this process.<br>When someone is generally just an awesome person, coupled with being fab at the job, what could be stressful process ends up being super chilled and that was our experience. I can not speak or recommend Georgia and guys at n24 highly enough. Absolutely awesome start to finish. Thank you guys. Never change.
