We were always kept informed of appointments, active in sending the feedback and offers through , and there was always good communication between all members of the staff and ourselves. The staff went above and beyond to make the selling process as smooth as possible for us as the clients. I highly recommend them.

This was the first time that I had used Peter Mulcahy in Ystrad Mynach, my partner had used them on numerous occasions in the past and he was more than happy to use them again. If you are selling your property l would not hesitate to call them.
19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Originally the estate agents based in Talbot Green who visited my house were very helpful and communicative. As time they were far more distant after my house was sold and a valuation they insisted on after the sale said it was damp issues from next door. The buyer pulled out after the valuation which proved that the sale was not worth the paper it was written on. They said they would help me with solicitors documents I troubled to fill in and cancelled the appointment on the day. I had no option to sell my house to auction for far less as a result of the valuation. Meanwhile the landlord who was the owner of the house next door to me that was allegedly bringing damp into my house via the surveyor 's report had put the house on sale on line via Property Plus for 55 thousand more than my sale price ? Avoid at all costs.

Caitlyn followed up with updating me with every necessary details I needed to know. They both had such warm service that I didn’t use think twice before giving them a call for my queries. Keep the team work going guys ??????

26th Sep 2026 (4 weeks ago)Called every day for a week to get tree branches removed from my garden (they took down two trees on their property next door), despite daily promises the big branches are still there a week after the trees came down.<br>** It's my landlord who is most annoyed, I'm just frustrated that I have not been kept in the loop/given updates. I was assured it would be done on Friday... A call to apologise and tell me the plans going forward would have been appreciated ??????

8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)?? 1 star<br><br>Unfortunately, my experience with Nexa South Wales has been extremely frustrating.<br><br>I have been living in my current property since February and have experienced ongoing maintenance issues almost from the beginning. There have been repeated leaks from the bathroom into the kitchen, including an incident where water flooded into the kitchen and affected the electrics. Multiple contractors have attended, with various parts replaced and repairs attempted, but I have repeatedly had to chase for issues to actually be resolved.<br><br>I have also been left waiting for months for damage caused by the leaks to be properly made good, including staining and repainting the kitchen ceiling.<br><br>More recently, the boiler has been leaking for months. Two leaks were identified, one was repaired, but I have still been waiting for the other to be resolved. This morning, the boiler started leaking heavily again at around 6am, leaving me with no choice but to turn off the internal stopcock. As a result, I currently have no water, hot water or heating in the property.<br><br>What is particularly disappointing is the lack of urgency and communication. An inspection was also carried out around a month ago, with several issues identified and uploaded to my online account. Despite this, I have received no follow-up and nobody has attended to address those issues.<br><br>I have repeatedly reported problems and tried to be patient, but I feel that I am constantly having to chase the letting agent, landlord and builder to get basic maintenance and safety issues dealt with.<br><br>I appreciate that repairs can sometimes take time, but there is a significant difference between a repair taking time and repeatedly having to chase unresolved problems for months, particularly when they involve water leaks, electrical concerns and loss of essential services.<br><br>The whole situation has caused me a huge amount of unnecessary stress and has significantly affected my experience of living in the property. I would simply expect maintenance issues to be taken seriously, communicated properly and dealt with within a reasonable timeframe.<br><br>I am extremely disappointed with my experience so far and would not currently recommend Nexa South Wales based on the way my tenancy and ongoing maintenance issues have been handled.

Throughout the whole process, Gareth has been nothing but open, honest, supportive and professional. We’ve had a bit of an up-and-down journey with property sales, through no fault of anyone’s, but Gareth has been there every step of the way, offering reassurance, advice and support whenever we’ve needed it. The sale of our other property went through smoothly, and Gareth was absolutely amazing throughout. His communication has been second to none. He’s always kept us updated, been completely transparent and, if there was ever something he didn’t know, he made sure he found out and came back to us. What really sets Gareth apart is that he genuinely cares about the people he’s helping. You’re not just another sale to him. He’s gone above and beyond for us, and what started as a professional relationship has turned into a genuine friendship. We’re incredibly grateful for everything he’s done for us, particularly through some of the more challenging moments. An absolutely brilliant estate agent and an even better person. Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, especially when things don’t always go to plan, but Claire was always there to help, chase things up and keep me updated.<br><br>I really appreciated how approachable, friendly and supportive everyone was throughout the whole process. I never felt like I was just another customer, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about getting the sale completed.<br><br>Thank you so much to Claire and the whole team for all your patience, hard work and support. He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

She was always more than happy to assist with any questions that I had & was extremely helpful for our first time buyers to help them with the process. We had a bit of a situation with solicitors, but Mel was onto them, chasing and efficiently got everything organised.<br>I would highly recommend Mel if you’re looking to sell your house!

Thank you both so much x- 16th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Our experience with Peter Alan's Whitchurch branch has been a complete disgrace. They are incompetent at best and purposefully dishonest at worst. They created such a mess of the sale of our property, they encouraged us to sell our house at modern auction in conjuction with their colleagues in I Am Sold, who also have an appalling reputation for losing both buyers and sellers tens of thousands of pounds. Eve Pearson of Peter Alan and our Auction 'specialist' at I Am Sold encouraged us to put our house up for sale £50k under budget and then tried to gaslight us into believing this was a good deal for us. Then, Peter Alan staff will shove as many viewers through your front door as possible, knowing that this entraps you into owing I Am Sold an insane fee of 4.5% from the sale of your house, should you want to sell your house to anyone who viewed it through them, for 12 months afterwards.<br>We had a prospective buyer who wanted to buy our house outside of I Am Sold due to their horrendous reputation and so we challenged the fee stating that Eve should have informed every single interested person of these terms, prior to booking a viewing, and Eve said her colleague was responsible for this and was thorough with every person he spoke to before letting them view our house. We later found out from that buyer that this colleague was brand new to the company and not only did he have zero conversations with the buyers ahead of the viewings, in fact the first time they ever spoke was when they met in person at the house viewing, but he even shared openly that because he was new to the company, he had no idea about auctions! Not only did Eve leave someone completely unqualified in charge of our property which she was supposed to be dealing with herself, but she then threw him under the bus to cover up her own mistakes.<br>While we've escalated our complaint to the Connells Group, both about the catastrophic handling of our property AND the sheer lack of integrity of the staff at Peter Alan's Whitchurch branch, we know that Peter Alan and the Connells Group are one organisation and therefore are incapable and unwilling to admit any wrongdoing. As such, we've had to escalate our concerns to the Property Ombudsman as we are alarmed by the gross misconduct perpetrated by the staff. I would strongly recommend avoiding Peter Alan at all cost to save yourself the dire consequences of their inept practice. Peter Alan wasted 3 months of our time, destroyed the value of our property and then just expected to quietly walk away and leave us to deal with the mess they created.
