29th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Simon highly enough as a property manager. Throughout my tenancy, he was consistently professional and incredibly responsive. The standout moment was when I discovered a leak in my radiator on a Sunday evening. I sent an email expecting a reply on Monday, but Simon called me within the hour to assess the situation. True to his word, he had a plumber at my door shortly after—all while the office was closed. If you want a landlord or manager who genuinely cares about their tenants, Simon is the one.

From start to finish, the entire process was handled with efficiency and care. I was pleased with the service I received from Alex, Aaron and Anna throughout. The communication with Aaron was excellent — I was kept informed and felt fully supported through the process. I wholeheartedly recommend Thorney Groves, Chester to anyone looking to sell their home. A great service from a team that goes the extra mile.

10th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Very responsive and helpful, much more so than other letting agents I approached when searching for a property. Letting process quick and reasonably straightforward although the online system sometimes seemed a bit daunting for a non 'techie'. The only aspect of the process that I felt was poor was the handover where I was just asked to attend the office to collect the keys and door code. There are a number of features of the property that I have had to discover myself or by talking to the building caretaker. An accompanied handover on the premises would have made this much easier.

Market evaluation was excellent and the advice given to me was straightforward and practical and of great use in deciding the selling price and very reassuring to benefit from all their long experience of marketing properties in my area. My home was advertised beautifully with excellent pictures and a great video. I had 10 viewings arranged by their lovely staff in the first week of my property going on the market back in January and it was sold STC within 4 days. They also gave the most competitive fees of the estate agents I contacted. I was kept informed throughout and they would be my first choice should I need to market a property again. 16th May 2022 (4 years ago)Booked an appointment to go see a unit we were keen about, 2 other people also took time off work. We arrived onsite to no one to show from legat Owens, and then the landlady arrived to ask us what we were doing as the unit has been rented out for the last 3 months. So thank you legat Owens for completely wasting our time and letting us book time off work for a unit which isn’t for rent.

7th Oct 2022 (3 years ago)They show lots of people the property and the landlord picks which just seems crazy and u have to wait till all the viewings are done till u find out if you even got a chance. I viewed my dream home and was totally gutted when I wasn't accepted ????

House was sparkling clean upon arrival and we have settled in very nicely thanks to Helen and her team. I would highly reccomend the whole Team at Monopoly in Denbigh.
