Not a reduced listing even if only £50. rightmove do not allow this, has to be taken off rightmove for 14 weeks to be classed as new listing.

Communication was clear throughout, and the appointment was handled in a polite and respectful manner. Overall, a very positive and pleasant experience.

From the start, she were polite, incredibly helpful, and quick to respond to all my questions about the property. Chiara handled everything with total professionalism and made the renting process stress-free. Highly recommended!

6th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)We had a viewing booked with Platinum Indepentend, but when we arrived at the property, we were told it had already been let. This was extremely disappointing and a complete waste of our time.<br><br>We were told that they had “tried” to contact us, but neither I nor my partner received any phone calls, voicemails, or messages. The viewing had been arranged via email, so if they were unable to reach us by phone, they could have easily emailed us to let us know before we made the journey.<br><br>A simple message would have saved us an unnecessary trip. Very poor communication and no respect for other people’s time.

She kept us updated every step of the way, chased and pushed all parties to ensure everything moved smoothly, and was always available to patiently answer my many questions.<br><br>Buying a house can be stressful, but Town & Country made the experience feel much smoother and more manageable. 22nd Aug 2026 (1 day ago)Very slow at sorting out issues with pigeons nesting in the roof in our rental accomodation. There was pigeon poo everywhere in the garden and dead baby pigeons at times so the garden was unuseable. Also, the handles on all the cupboards were broken and they weren't replaced so we had to do it ourselves. However, when neighbours complained about our garden overgrowing they immediately forced an inspection to check the grass. The carbon monoxide detectors were out of date and then fixed only when we raised the issue. When we went to hand in our documents at the main office, it was pouring with rain and the woman wouldn't open the door and made us post the documents through the letterbox. Just very rude.

30th Jul 2026 (24 days ago)Absolutely appalling experience from start to finish.<br><br>I wanted to view a probate property and my viewing was delayed by nine days, despite my repeated requests. Throughout the process I felt that unnecessary hurdles were constantly put in my way, and the property was eventually sold for less than I was prepared to pay. Because of the way everything was handled, I have asked the Property Ombudsman to investigate my concerns.<br><br>To make matters worse, after spending the morning returning missed calls from various estate agents about other properties, I noticed I had also missed a call from this office. When I rang back, the person who answered was rude and abruptly hung up on me.<br><br>Good customer service costs nothing, and there is simply no excuse for treating potential buyers in this way. My experience has left me with no confidence in this company, and I would not recommend them.

1st Aug 2026 (22 days ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

12th Aug 2026 (11 days ago)Please do not move in with this company. I was due to move in two months ago, and throughout the entire process I received no information whatsoever about the moving-in procedure. I emailed multiple times beforehand asking what I needed to do, but nobody responded.<br><br>When I finally arrived at the building, I was told I had to travel all the way to MediaCity to collect my keys, despite repeatedly asking in advance about the process.<br><br>Unfortunately, the problems only got worse after moving in. There was black mould on my ceiling, which I reported immediately. Someone came out and simply painted over it, despite me explaining that there clearly appeared to be dampness or a leak causing the mould. My concerns were not properly investigated.<br><br>Just 26 days later, the black mould returned — around ten times worse. There is now an active leak in the ceiling directly above my bed. I reported this over a month ago and have emailed every seven days since, yet I have received no response whatsoever from the property management team.<br><br>I have also reported the issue through their reporting service and still have had no response. This is completely unacceptable. I am now becoming unwell and have had to miss significant amounts of work, while the management continue to fail to take the situation seriously.<br><br>I have now contacted Salford City Council to see if they can put pressure on the building management to address the leak, damp and mould.<br><br>Do not rent with this property. I ignored the warning signs and I deeply regret it. If you are considering moving here, please take these issues seriously and think very carefully before signing a contract.

Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.
