Steve the director is a compulsive liar, he has 0 compassion unless it fills his pockets with money.<br>They are absolutely dodgy and I would strongly not recommend anybody go through this agency.<br>I have had years of being ignored from them regarding serious issues with the property I rent. When I do get a response from them it’s no accountability and gaslighting, given empty promises or better yet completely dismissed anything I have reported. His act is comical to say the least, he is the most unprofessional person, the “work” done tends to be botched jobs that fall below standards and tenants are just expected to put up and shut up all whilst still upping rent. But can’t give no answer on speaking with the landlords to rectify issues. When I reported an ongoing issue for over 3 years now he told me I was running the risk of the landlords selling up. Now he’s threatened me twice with that answer to the disrepair and the neglect. He’ll come out to the property and deny ever being there. Not to mention never ever any follows ups, the lack of compassion, professionalism is concerning. I’m still yet to have a response regarding my actual complaints. one thing I realised is Steve doesn’t like it when people try to hold him accountable. All he cares about is what fills his pocket. He almost forgets he has a duty of care considering he is the director to this joke of an establishment. But Steve’s speciality is silent treatment and dismissing tenants as if we are beneath him but if he does feel like doing something he’ll authorise botch jobs and masking over issues rather than fixing them. I have sat and read the reviews and Every single “negative” review is CORRECT and extremely accurate. Considering it’s his business you would think he would be a bit more careful on who he tries to fool and dismiss.

7th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)unfortunately my experience with this agency has been consistently disappointing. Many of the properties they advertise look great and are reasonably priced, which is why I kept applying and contacting them repeatedly. However, despite numerous enquiries, I have never once been offered a viewing. The process is always the same: you call about a property, they ask you to complete an application form, you send all your information, and then you receive an automatic email saying someone will contact you shortly. But nobody ever does. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of communication. Other agencies usually contact applicants to explain whether viewings are available, whether the property already has too many applicants, or whether the application was unsuccessful. This agency simply ignores people after they submit their details. I even contacted them multiple times to ask for clarification, and each time I received the same scripted responses such as “we cannot offer viewings to everyone.” I understand that perfectly. The issue is not rejection — the issue is the lack of professionalism and communication. For context, I have a good rental history, and I currently rent a property that actually costs more than many of the properties I applied for through this agency. I am financially able to afford the rent, so the complete lack of response is difficult to understand. I also know several local friends (families) who tried to rent through this agency and had similarly negative experiences. They described the agency as completely unhelpful and said the process caused them a huge amount of unnecessary stress.If applicants are told someone will contact them, then they should receive an update, even if the answer is no. People are left waiting with no information at all. I also found the staff quite dismissive and unhelpful during phone conversations. Communication felt rushed and unfriendly rather than supportive. I genuinely feel this agency needs to improve its customer service, transparency, and communication with applicants. A simple update or honest explanation would save people a lot of time and stress but they usually say:”We have no time for that”!!!Actually it’s part of your job!

We dealt mainly with Amelia when purchasing our new house, She kept us well informed throughout the whole process, was always pleasant and professional. If I had any questions and I couldn't get in touch ,She always phoned back when she said she would ,if our experience is anything to go by i would have no problem recommending Amelia and the rest of the team. Thanks again for your help.

We felt we had been let down by our previous agent, so the difference was remarkable. Within just one week of instructing Steve, we had an offer agreed.<br><br>Steve was proactive, professional, and kept us informed every step of the way throughout the process. 2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this letting agency. Rent payments are consistently delayed, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. In addition, various charges have been applied without adequate explanation or transparency, leaving me feeling that fees are being imposed arbitrarily. Communication has also been very poor. Emails and queries often go unanswered, and it is difficult to obtain clear information regarding payments, charges, or the management of my property. As a landlord, I expect professionalism, transparency, and timely communication, none of which have been consistently demonstrated. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this agency to other landlords seeking reliable property management services.

26th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)Slade Property Collective are a small, but very professional estate agency. We dealt with Oliver Jones throughout the sale of our parents house in Tettenhall. Oliver was so helpful, approachable and professional. He guided us throughout the process, even out of office hours, which I know you wouldn't get through any of the bigger estate agencies. The house sold within a few days. Obviously this is a stressful time for anyone whose selling/buying, and this was a very emotional time for us, as this had been our home since 1969. Oliver was genuinely empathetic and, eased us through without any major problems. I would not hesitate to recommend Slade Property Collective to anyone.<br>Thank you Oliver and thank you Slade Property Collective
