5th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)I have no hesitation in recommending McDougall McQueen if you are looking to sell your home.<br><br>My initial contact was with Sylvia at McDougall McQueen who managed the all the processes involved in marketing, viewings and finding the right buyer.<br><br>Conveyancing was handled by Bobby Fife with my sale completed within 7 weeks!<br><br>I have been very impressed by their knowledge and professionalism, and really appreciated their advice and efficiency.<br><br>Communication was fantastic throughout. A speedy response to any queries I had, and frequent updates to what was going on.<br><br>Would absolutely look to Sylvia and McDougall McQueen if I was looking to buy or sell in the future.
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

12th Aug 2026 (12 days ago)The whole process of selling my flat in Mount Florida was quick, professional and stress-free thanks to Dario and Karen. From my first phone call with Karen to request a valuation to Dario's visit to value my property, they were so friendly and helpful with great local knowledge and I instantly got a good vibe about Unicorn. The process from there moved so quickly, photography was done, surveyor visited and within just over a week we were on the market with viewings lined up. Communication throughout was on point, Karen was super pro-active in following up with viewers, giving good advice and taking the lead on price negotiations. They also recommended a local solicitor which helped the process flow super smoothly too. All in all I couldn't recommend Unicorn highly enough, a very professional service with a lovely personal touch.

Having been so impressed with the sale of my first property, I had no hesitation in asking them to handle the sale of a second—and they certainly didn't disappoint.<br><br>Their friendly, personal approach and excellent local knowledge made the whole process straightforward from start to finish. Communication was always prompt and clear, and I always felt they had my best interests at heart. Most impressively, they found a buyer for my second property within just two weeks of it going on the market.<br><br>It's refreshing to deal with an independent estate agent that genuinely cares about its clients and provides such a high level of service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Truscott Properties to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. They have now delivered excellent results for me twice within a year, and I would happily use them again in the future.

During the offer stage the person who was handling our case was quite slow in responding, requests had to be chased up a lot, and left me out of emails (and only addressed them to my male partner) which was quite annoying, but once Caron took over it was really great, excellent and quick communication. Five stars for Caron.

Your call/queries will be answered promptly.<br>2. Your chances of speaking to your own team handling your conveyancing are exceptionally high.<br>3. Your legal work will be done for you quickly, efficiently and personally.<br><br>All of the above I have found incredibly lacking and indeed at times non existent in my last few house sales and purchases. I've been very stressed, left unknowing, can't get a reply and treated like the conveyancer was the one doing me a favour not that I was a valuable customer. The only quick and efficient part of the process being the final invoice!<br>Well with Monarch and especially Annemarie who looked after me from the first moment I made contact, I have had an exceptional experience. Annemarie has worked tirelessly and late into the evening at times to make my sale and purchase happen as quickly as possible. I've been kept informed without even the need to ask. It has been a very personal experience where I have felt supported and confident throughout.<br>Please do yourself a favour and trust in Monarch to get your conveyancing done and save yourself from the normal grief that this process entails. Picked up keys today and very happy with the purchase for the price I got it for - would 100% use them again for another purchase as they have a lot of good deals if you are looking to buy tenanted property.

Supported from start to finish. I would highly recommend Karen if you are looking to buy and/or sell properties.<br>Karen has great knowledge of many local areas and committed to the process till the point properties are concluded and keys are handed to new owners, and if needed beyond this point too. While selling can be a stressful experience Karen remained a constant professional but friendly calmness providing helpful advice and knowledge.
