Being new to the country, I was unfamiliar with the rules and requirements for securing accommodation, but Lilly from Foxtons Guildford was an absolute lifesaver. She went above and beyond her job description—she actually met me at the train station and drove me to several different viewings, which was incredibly helpful as I was still finding my way around. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and found the perfect home for me. As English is not my first language, I was worried about the complicated paperwork, but Lilly was so patient. She explained everything in very simple, clear terms so I felt confident in every decision. Even after the deal was closed with the landlord, she has stayed in touch to make sure I am settled. 26th May 2025 (11 mo. ago)Whilst the individuals who work here can be very nice, their enforcement of actioning requests to the landlord to fix issues is sub par, and the landlords they take on are not always nice people. Before taking on the property they promised all carpets and issues with the property would be fixed, they were never even attempted to be fixed. Scaffolding went up all round the property with zero warning, all walkways looked directly into the property. Nothing was explained that there was issues with the roof. Also lost access to parking space that came with the property due to scaffolding placement. Was told it would be up 3-4 weeks maximum however was still there 4 months later when I moved out. Downstairs tenants had major damp issues in their property which the landlord refused to fix. Extremely loud tenants in the property with no action from the landlord to stop it. Drugs being sold in downstairs property, no action from the landlord. Due to insufficient insulation was extremely cold and wind blew throughout, and also meant when roof was worked on everything in storage spaces got covered in debris. Eventually got cleaned after weeks of begging. Did nothing after I received very aggressive phone call directly from the landlord as to when I enquired about the scaffolding and lack of parking. Once again, nice people, but bad management and clientele.

I was particularly impressed with Kristina's swift and precise communication, as well as her knowledge of the development and the property. I have bought and sold properties in Farnham through Hamptons over the last 25 years, and this encounter was up to their usual high standards. Thoroughly recommended.

She was patient, friendly, and helpful the whole time. Even when we were measuring almost the whole house with a broken tape measure and taking longer than expected, she never made us feel rushed. Camilla was also very helpful, keeping us updated and doing her best to answer all our questions. Jake was always courteous and professional, and we appreciated the time and effort he gave us. Even though the tenancy didn’t work out in the end (for reasons unrelated to Bridges), we wanted to leave a review because the team was always polite, responsive, and supportive. Thank you to Molly, Camilla, and Jake for all your help.

They stood out from the first initial consultation, when Henry listened to us and answered our questions rather than giving us a sales pitch. They are all warm, friendly, professional and responsive. They have maintained regular and frequent contact throughout which has been especially helpful during the challenging times! When we weren't getting answers from our buyer's solicitors they were always on hand to chase and provide updates. I wholeheartedly recommend Winkworth Sales and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were swift in the process throughout specifically David who I was dealing with. Full transparency is we unfortunately did find the one bad egg of a tenant but with David’s relentless help and work ethic he over saw everything and ensured a painless experience despite the negative outcome of the tenant.
