16th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)I paid £213 to Greenfield for the holding deposit. The referencing failed. Instead of them refunding my money. They deducted £60 from my money. When I enquired The agent called Laurence said, they have deducted the cost of referencing from it.<br>I said what?? You didn't tell me from the onset. Moreover, I have not asked anyone to do referencing on my behalf, so why I'm I bearing the cost.<br>Is this extortion or what???
14th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)A definite 5 star rating from me. In a more challenging property market, Angie and Nick got us live on Rightmove extremely fast (we already had a valid EPC). Within a few days they had qualified 5 interested parties and suggested they arranged back to back viewings on the Saturday. By the following Monday afternoon we had 3 offers and were guided as to which was the most proceedable. We followed their advice and exchanged yesterday!! All through the process they have been incredibly supportive and the communication has been exceptional. A massive thanks from Debs and I

31st Jul 2026 (24 days ago)Saunders (John, Edward and Richard) have been amazing for various viewings and during the process of buying a house through them. The patience, guidance and respect shown to the vendor while she needed extra help with her sale and ability to show kindness throughout the sale has been memorable and they have gone above and beyond with both the vendor and for us during our purchase with them. I would highly recommend to not only take care of your sale but also of you or relatives that may need that extra patience and guidance during a sale. We will be recommending for friends and family when their time comes to sell.

Their communication was fantastic, kept up to date with progression work, providing me with weekly updates - ensuring the sale was moving forwards and foreseeing any potential issues. Progression work is vital to a smooth sale, often over looked by other agents! 5 Stars

If she was out of office, my communication would be followed up by a colleague. It was a great relief to feel the process was in capable hands. I would certainly recommend them.

The team kept in regular contact and never failed to pick up the phone for any queries we had making us feel supported every step of the way. Special thanks to Kirstie who assisted us on the search & purchase journey and to Shaun, the Director, for going above and beyond, helping us overcome many hurdles on the solicitor front! His expertise and proactive approach is truly appreciated. Thank you for helping us find our first home!
10th Aug 2026 (14 days ago)I booked a property viewing with the owner, but he never showed up. When I went to their office to follow up, he wasn't there, and the staff had no record of my booking. They promised to call me back but never did. I later discovered they were still advertising the property despite no longer having it on their books. By contrast, I booked a viewing for the exact same property through their competitors on the opposite side of the road and was inside seeing it within 20 minutes.This matches my past experiences with Connor Prince, where things also ended badly. If this agency messes up, do not expect an apology. The owner will simply cut you off cold and move on without a care. He is rude, arrogant, and entirely lacks empathy. They run this office like a corner shop family business with decor stuck in the '70s rather than a modern, professional 21st-century estate agency. I would not use them again if they were the last estate agents left on earth. Dreadful people.

All they care about is their fees. No professionalism from this company. 10th May 2021 (5 years ago)Appalling experience, don't use these agents. No due diligence, no clear information, no urgency in anything they do. I've gone with other agents now having wasted 4 months on what should have been a straightforward no chain sale.
7th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)Mark Anthony’s team are deserving of far more than 5 stars. 100% better than my previous experience with the larger corporate estate agencies. Much more personable. Very professional, approachable, honest and always available. No hard sales waffle, no forcing stats to try tease the sale price down. I have nothing but praise for this team who listened and then worked with enthusiasm towards my end goal. A special thank you to Mark Feltham who exceeded all my expectations and saw us over the finishing line to our new happy home. Thank you all so very much for everything. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.
9th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)One of the worst letting experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, emails ignored, phones often not answered, and only after days of chasing did we find out the landlord wouldn’t accept a guarantor, despite this being clear from the start. They completely wasted our time and money. - Update, in reponse to owner's comment: Terrible, misleading experience. From day one we clearly stated on the offer form that we needed a guarantor, and your agent Daniel explicitly told us this was fine. You then dragged things out for about a week from the last week of November, taking documents and running checks, only to suddenly claim at the end that “the landlord doesn’t accept a guarantor.” That guarantor requirement was on the original form you sent to the landlord, she accepted the offer on that basis, and I even asked again and you confirmed it was okay. Hiding behind “duty of care” after wasting our time and blocking us from renting elsewhere is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

She was great very helpful and quick to respond… its an office block conversion so even with all the delays and developers issues she always kept me informed and updated couldn’t of asked for a better experience as a first time buyer! She has the patients of a saint and always happy to help so would definitely recommend!

Holly even offered to be a helping had when I was going through PND and that’s speaks volumes. They always look out for their clients well being. If i was to remain within London, I would not have parted with their services. They are the best

4th Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Massive thanks to Cedric & Jack at White & Sons, who not only helped with our sale but pleased to say we found our purchase with to!<br><br>Professional, personable and tenacious throughout, they not only marketed our property brilliantly, they were consultative when it came to pricing and small layout changes to showcase in its best possible light, which led to finding a successful buyer.<br><br>On our purchase, Cedric advised we take a look when it wasn't on our radar... With a reassuring 'trust me on this one' when we pushed back... and I'm glad we did!<br><br>They managed the sale progression really well, chasing when needed and making sure we were on track for our exchange and completion. Thanks again guys, top draw example of how estate agency should be done and highly recommend to anyone looking to sell/buy.
