I've found it a horrendous experience, with terrible communication and constant attempts to impose dubious charges outside the contract. I can't wait to be out of this contract so it's no longer necessary to deal with this firm.

13th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)My partner and I recently sold our first family home with Cowell Norford Rochdale. It was a very bitter sweet feeling as we loved our home, but the staff down at Cowells made us feel so much better about the whole process. We had a difficult buyer to say the least, however without the help of Maisie, our sales negotiator and Sophie, our sales progressor the process would have been a whole lot worse. No question asked was too stupid, and they always went above what was asked of them. I received daily updates from them, even if there was no real update, they were constantly reassuring me that they were chasing the relevant people to get it over the line as quickly as possible. Selling and buying a house is a real rollercoaster of emotions, and without Maise and Sophie I'm not sure I would have survived it! Thank you so much Maise and Sophie, you were amazing and are a real credit to the business. I wish you all the best in everything you do!

Ashleigh was particularly helpful — always professional, responsive, and clear in her communication, which made things much easier from our side. The move-out process was straightforward and handled efficiently, and everything was dealt with fairly. Overall, a well-managed service and a professional team to deal with. Would happily rent through them again.

The staff have been wonderful to deal with, always kept myself updated throughout the whole process putting customer relations and quality first. Their communication was outstanding, with quick responses to any questions and a genuine willingness to help. 20th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates.<br>Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings.<br>Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.

I was then up against at tight deadline with the sale and it’s fair to say I made my fair share of calls and emails into the office. Gabby was absolutely outstanding at moving things along at pace for me and always responded promptly. We got the sale completed in an unbelievable timescale and I’m extremely grateful to West Riding. I cannot fault the process whatsoever throughout.

Harrison was very professional and provided honest information. Harrison followed up as agreed and proposed a new house for us to visit. I would recommend Harrison for his customer service.
