The property generated plenty of interest and ultimately achieved a sale price above the asking price, which was a fantastic result.<br><br>A special thank you to Jess for making the onboarding process straightforward and stress-free, as well as providing an accurate valuation from the outset. I’d also like to thank Lynn for her support and assistance throughout the sale.<br><br>However, my biggest thanks go to Catherine, who truly went above and beyond during what became a lengthy legal process. Unfortunately, the solicitors caused significant delays and dragged the transaction on for several months, but Catherine was relentless in chasing all parties involved and keeping the process moving forward. They were there from the beginning to the end of the process to reassure, help and guide.<br>Laurence came to our property fully prepared for the valuation and from then guided us throughout the viewings and initial sale process.<br>Eleanor kept the sale chain updated and moving, smoothing everything over.<br>Toli and the whole team were there especially when it mattered most.

Cardwells are highly recommended- 2nd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)Bridgfords, Knutsford have been trying to sell the property i am letting for a year, which i am letting through a completely different agency, who knew nothing about this. They have shown no respect for us the tenants even though we had just started a years tenancy. They harrassed us constantly, now we have decided to move out it has started again, they say they have permision from our landlady which isn't legal. They have turned up on our doorstep without an appointment and their constant phone calls are harrassment. Today they have gone behind our backs again putting the house up for sale and using photos of our things which we haven't given permission for them to use. They have no regard for anyone letting any property. Legal action is in place. I answered the message below from Lucy regarding my complaint but received no reply.

The team was professional, friendly, and highly efficient throughout the entire process. They made everything smooth and stress-free, always keeping me informed and providing clear guidance along the way. Their communication was outstanding, with quick responses to any questions and a genuine willingness to help. The attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of service really stood out. I would highly recommend Leaders Fallowfield to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy letting and estate agent. A truly five-star experience!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I had communication issues and delays with my own solicitors, other solicitors and other estate agents but never with Colleen at Eric Clarke. She was proactive, helpful and went above and beyond to keep me in the loop and give other members of the chain a nudge when needed. Would absolutely recommend to others!
24th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)I was a tenant under this managing agent at Elizabeth Tower in Deansgate.<br><br>Unfortunately my experience was a very disappointing one. We vacated the apartment over a month ago and our deposit still has not been returned. The whole process has been unnecessarily slow, with poor communication, unanswered calls and delayed responses, meaning we have had to chase repeatedly just to get an update.<br><br>The proposed deductions were also extremely frustrating. Some related to works that had not actually been carried out, including a cleaning charge despite new tenants having already moved into the property. There were also proposed charges for items left in the apartment, even though we had written confirmation that those items were to be left for the incoming tenants.<br><br>We were also falsely accused of causing damage. When I pointed this out and provided clear evidence, they simply removed it from their original deduction amount, which makes me question how the deductions were being calculated in the first place and whether anything was properly checked before charges were proposed.<br><br>On top of that, we helped source the new tenants ourselves, who already lived in the building. This saved the landlord and agent advertising time, marketing costs and avoided a potential void period. Even after going out of our way to do that, we have still been left chasing for updates and feel we have not been treated fairly.<br><br>The whole deposit process has been stressful, drawn out and poorly handled, and we are still waiting for our money back. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this managing agent.
