Exceptional Service – Highly, Highly Recommend!<br><br>What more can I say other than slick, efficient, friendly, professional and attentive!<br><br>We recently completed the sale of our family home, and I wanted to personally express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Jackson-Stops, Alderley Edge, for making what could have been a stressful experience an incredibly smooth and positive one.<br><br>James really knows his market and, more importantly, knows exactly how to sell a home. His expertise, honest advice and strategic approach were invaluable. Not only did he achieve a sale above our asking price, but his guidance helped us secure a buyer quickly and navigate the entire process with confidence and minimal stress.<br><br>Of course, behind every great estate agent is an equally fantastic team, and we had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Shari, who was simply wonderful throughout. She genuinely held our hand through the process, seamlessly bridging the gap between ourselves and our buyers. Her warmth, kindness, patience and willingness to go above and beyond made such a difference.<br><br>What particularly impressed me about Shari was her attitude. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and rather than saying something couldn’t be done, her approach was always to find a way to make things work. That positive, caring and solutions-focused philosophy is something I believe truly sets the Jackson-Stops team at Alderley Edge apart from the rest.<br><br>Selling our family home was a significant milestone for us, especially as we prepare to relocate to Australia and begin a completely new chapter in our lives. 8th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)I sold my house in Northenden with Reeds Rains (Didsbury) this Summer. David did the initial viewing and valuation. He came prepared and with reassuring enthusiasm. The pricing strategy was realistic and with a great marketing package, generated the initial interest we were hoping for. We arranged days of multiple viewings (reducing the number of times I had to get the house ‘sale ready’) and sold the house quickly. After our first buyer pulled out, the team were so supportive and quickly began the process again. Within days we had more offers to choose from and sold above asking price. I’m so grateful to David, Anna and the team - thank you!

14th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)It's hard to review a estate agency when you interact with various staff roles, and unfortunately the bad ones ruin it for the good ones. Our experience as buyers was fantastic with Nia Yates who showed us the property we ultimately bought. Nia was very professional and patient, went above and beyond to answer questions and follow up with the sellers when we requested additional details. She was knowledgable, friendly, and managed to secure a second viewing before we placed an offer. If you're a seller, thoroughly recommend you to ask for Nia as your sales negotiator, she's done a great job.<br><br>Unfortunately the good experience ended once we were assigned Jackie Stirling as our sales progressor. The quality of the communication was appalling. Various questions about the status of the chain, the length of it, details from the survey that needed to be passed to sellers, they went either unanswered, were answered late (which made planning very difficult), or were miscommunicated. This resulted in an unnecessary back and forth of emails and calls (that is if you can get through on the phone, good luck!), waste of time, and additional stress to an already complex process. At the most critical time, prior to the agreed completion date, Jackie was unreachable for over a week. Imagine your solicitors, EAs and yourselves unable to contact your sellers even to the day prior to exchange and completion. With our house packed, we had to pull back, which is when suddenly contact with Jackie was restored, but only to put the blame on others. Classic. Intrigued by this attitude, we searched online and found various negative reviews about Jackie and decided to follow the advice of slipping a note through our sellers door in a last ditch to rescue the chain. Coincidentally, our sellers got in touch and expressed their own frustration with Jackie. Once she was out of the picture, things started to run smoothly, faster, and coordinated more efficiently with other links in the chain for a new completion date (all other EAs were on the ball so that helped too). So if you're a seller, best to ask for someone else assigned to your case or risk losing your buyer. I'm sorry for the other people at Edward Mellor but we have to give you honest feedback or things won't improve as various reviews are clearly showing a pattern.

The responsiveness of the team, the ease of engagement, and the treatment so far have been satisfactory. It's been a jolly ride.<br><br>Isabella Halsall has also been an excellent agent. The professionalism and thoughtfulness behind her actions is amazing. I also appreciate how swift she is in responding to concerns and resolving all the issues.

30th Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Sue and the team at LRG/Leaders highly enough.<br><br>My purchase wasn’t straightforward, with delays outside anyone’s control, but throughout the entire process Sue kept me updated, responded promptly to my emails, and was always reassuring, kind, professional and incredibly patient.<br><br>Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt informed about what was happening.<br><br>Massive thanks to Sue and the team for all of your hard work in helping me purchase my first home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone buying or selling a property.

They were efficient in allowing the survey to book in & even sorted out getting a wasps nest sorted within 24 hours. Great team if I sell in the future would definitely use them very professional service. Thanks Jill
21st Oct 2026 (6 days ago)So far as selling houses go I was immediately convinced that Curtis Law Estate Agents was the company to instruct to sell my property. From meeting the Estate Agent at the valuation stage. There enthusiasm and knowledge of the area convinced me it was the right choice to work with them.<br>Especially good communication on a weekly basis gave me the confidence that I was in good hands.<br>I developed a good working relationship with Dannielle the branch Manager.<br>Safe to say it was really seamless process and affordable charges allowed me not to worry about a thing.<br>I was that impressed by the professionalism of all the staff, that I instructed Curtis Law to do the conveyancing for me as well.<br>All round good experience.

Rob came out to do the valuation and photographs- he was professional, efficient, informative and very considerate of my sleeping newborn.<br>Communication was great throughout, even when I would message in the group on the weekends! Could not recommend them enough and will definitely be using them again in the future, especially as the house sold in less than a month! Thanks again :)
12th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)House was a state upon moving in. We had mice rats and spiders galore as well as various code violations including a tilted oven and a gas stove blocking the fire door . When it came to moving out I was charged £50 for a mark that was supposedly on my bedroom wall, however the picture they used as evidence was as a different room. Save yourself some money and stress and don’t move in to a property managed by these money hungry, scammers. Also take note of how all the good reviews here are for viewings and not for how well they manage the properties.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.
