25th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Have used Ascend for 4 years to manage my flat in Liverpool. During the pandemic they found poor tenants with minimal vetting, carried out no inspections (even after restrictions were lifted). After I made my own inspection I had to alert them to the problems they were missing. When the tenant left my place in an aweful state, their own agent admitted this was terrible. Finally, I received demands from debt collectors for unpaid council tax bills from a void period that the agent never passedon to me. Ascend claim they never received the 3 reminders from the council and refused to take any liability for their mismanagement. I lost £600 in fees and a significant knock to my own credit rating. A large agency that likes to charge management fees but doesn't actually manage. Stay clear - I'm sure there are better options out there!

3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)From the onset of selling the house they did what they said they would do. I was kept up to date of all viewings however a bit more feedback from the viewers would have been appreciated. Overall I'm very satisfied with what they have done so far.

14th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)The whole process with NPP has been very stressful. At the beginning all accommodations were met & so welcoming to the property. I was in a property with faults and promised so much to get this fix however nothing until I left and they sent someone. I have also been rudely spoke to throughout the whole process and chased for payments with no given help or support. Overall I am not one to complain however this has been a horrible experience

I have been a broker for 22 years and can honestly say that the speed in which Richard has turned this matter around has been impressive! All members of staff were informative and knowledgeable and their expertise made the whole sales process move seamlessly. Chris was professional and supportive through the whole process. His knowledge of the local area is unmatched. The quality and quantity of the photographs truly made the property look stunning and stand out from other similar properties - I'm not surprised that he found a buyer within a week. He truly went above and beyond to make sure that I was informed at all steps and that the sale went through efficiently. Cheryl was also very easy to work with. Her communication was clear, consistent and professional. She helped make the transaction as smooth as possible by keeping me in the loop at every stage. I am truly appreciative to the RE/MAX team. I put my trust in selling my property with them and they exceeded my expectations with no worry, stress or hassle. Thank you!
