As we were living in Cardiff and could not easily travel back to Manchester for viewings, they went above and beyond by arranging and sending us a detailed video tour of the property. This made the whole process so much easier and less stressful for us.<br><br>They were always available to answer our questions, kept us informed at every stage, and made what can often be a complicated process feel smooth and straightforward.<br><br>We are very grateful for all their support and would highly recommend Lucy and Murray to anyone looking to rent a property. Their dedication, kindness, and excellent customer service really made a difference.<br><br>Thank you both for helping us find our new home!

The team were supportive and helpful throughout and the communication was really great to keep me up dated on the process and progress. They return calls and deal with queries or concerns immediately. Lois and Samantha have been brilliant throughout, but recently I have crossed paths with Simon also. Simon is brilliant. Living over in Poland, I was a bit nervous about how things would go, but regular updates and friendly advice really put my mind at ease.<br>It meant a lot to be kept informed every step of the way, especially since this was my first time selling a house in England. They were there from the beginning to the end of the process to reassure, help and guide.<br>Laurence came to our property fully prepared for the valuation and from then guided us throughout the viewings and initial sale process.<br>Eleanor kept the sale chain updated and moving, smoothing everything over.<br>Toli and the whole team were there especially when it mattered most.
23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)My estate agent ghosted me!<br><br>I listed my two-bed flat for sale with Melissa Berry in May. It was my first time selling a property, and thankfully Melissa seemed helpful and friendly at the valuation, although she did seem to take my lead on pricing the property rather than guiding me towards a price that she thought would be a best fit. A couple of weeks later she came to take photos – and that was, sadly, the last I saw or heard of her.<br><br>The property had been on the market for a couple of weeks when I emailed to check in, and asked whether there’d been any interest. I did get a reply from a sales agent called Geraldine, saying that someone was interested in viewing the property but wouldn’t be able to visit for a couple of weeks; I replied straight away with my availability and asked what sort of time the viewing would go ahead. No response.<br><br>A week later, I emailed again to ask if the viewing was going ahead. Again, I was ignored. I tried calling, and left messages. Finally, after waiting another week, I emailed one last time to say that I was going to list the flat with another agent and asking Melissa/Geraldine to remove it from their listings. I expected a reply to that, at least – but instead they quietly took the property off their website, again without replying to my email.<br><br>I wasted over a month trying to work with Melissa Berry, only to be completely ghosted and treated as though I didn’t exist. Whether it was something I said or the business has just taken on more clients than it can handle, I recommend avoiding them unless you enjoy the silent treatment: there are plenty of other agencies out there.

A special thank you to Natalie, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process.<br><br>Natalie was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about making everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. She kept us informed every step of the way, promptly answered any questions, and went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed efficiently.<br><br>The level of customer service we received was exceptional from beginning to end. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Natalie's friendly and reassuring approach made a huge difference during what can often be a challenging process.<br><br>Thank you, Natalie, and the whole team at Cousins Estate Agency for your dedication, professionalism, and excellent service.
3rd Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)Day 34 surprise surprise 3pm the following day and no pack sent! They are absolutely disgusting! Not even an email or a phone call to apologise. Do not use this company! Day 33 Martin and Co promised to send the pack by end of business today Day 32 and still nothing! Please do not use this company. The comments from Earl below to try and reassure are utterly useless. We're now 32 days in waiting for this legal pack and still nothing and paid a ridiculous amount for the privilege of this. Not even an email or a phone call to apologise. Not, 'we'll chase it,' Nothing. And now after I've emailed, AGAIN, are they going to chase. Why weren't they - after 32 days - chasing this already. You can forgive small mistakes, but this is just utter incompetence. Day 18 and still nothing. I can’t begin to tell you how useless Martin and Co are. 1st May - took over management and told they were hopeful information would be loaded on system that afternoon. 8th May - told just a couple of more things to upload 12th May - told it’s not there responsibility and had been outsourced and had to wait 14th May - 14 days after and still nothing. Write 1 star review in frustration 16th May - MD responded to apologise and promised to get to the bottom of it 16th May - told uploaded but now the information had to ‘sync’ but we’d hear Monday morning 18th May - surprise surprise - NOTHING 19th May - finally hear but now charged £564 for a legal pack which cost me £300 last year and now, I have to wait up to ten days for this as it's outsourced again and out of their hands. To say Martin and Co disgust me is putting it lightly. They've actually made me feel physcially sick. Avoid them at all costs. There is nothing good about this company. The stress they have caused me is off the scale. The whole chain knows the stall in this sale is down to Martin & Co. Two and a half months I’ve been waiting for this legal pack to sell my property. I’m literally trapped in a property through their incompetence & the worst is knowing we haven’t even got to the point of them putting the legal pack together yet. We switched our listing from another agent and wish we'd gone with Keenans from the start. The team listened to us, acted as we'd requested and it felt very much like they had the best intention for us in mind, and were on our side.<br><br>Our purchase process became quite complicated and drawn out, however, Harry was superb. Patient and understanding, helpful and a phenomenal representative for the business.<br><br>Many thanks to everyone involved with us.<br><br>I would strongly recommend Keenans for anyone looking for a service that cares!

18th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Louis Was absolutely fantastic. He was courteous and knowledgable and never pushy. The viewings were conducted quickly and professionally, and while, through no fault of Jacob knight, the process was long and drawn out (mortgage issues), Louis was always available immediately when we needed him, either by phone or email. We had heard of agents for other companies being very good for the viewing process and then dropping off a cliff when it came to the nitty gritty of actually getting the process finalised. certainly not the case with Jacob knight, they were brilliant, can highly recommend.
