22nd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Liz and Nicola from F&C Rugby provided a first class service throughout the process of selling my late father's house. They were very supportive and always happy to attend the premises, not just for viewings but when I needed to give other trades access (as I live 300 miles away) and in my opinion went above and beyond at every step. F&C were not the cheapest quote we had, but were worth every penny: their marketing was superb and quickly generated a lot of interest in the house (far more than we expected) which led to a good offer. They continued to be in close communication throughout the legal process, gave good advice, and diplomatically negotiated a couple of bumps in the process to ensure everything continued on track. Nothing was too much trouble - even helping to lift a stain out of the carpet which was discovered when the last of the furniture was moved out! I can't thank them enough for helping make an emotionally and logistically difficult process as smooth as possible.
23rd Jun 2026 (12 days ago)I am extremely disappointed with my experience.<br>I viewed a flat in Papworth through Connells on Friday 19th June and absolutely loved the property. Before the viewing, I had noticed that an identical listing through another agency, Leaders, had already been marked as “Let Agreed.” As the two listings appeared to be exactly the same flat, I raised this concern with the Connells agent during the viewing. He reassured me that the property was still available and suggested that the Leaders listing must have been for a different flat in the building.<br>Based on this information, we submitted an offer that same evening. The following day, Connells sent us paperwork to complete and sign, clearly identifying the property we had viewed. We were even told that we could potentially move in from 29th June. On Monday, when we called for an update, we were told that they were waiting to speak to the landlord and that we would soon be able to pay the deposit.<br>However, today (23rd June), after chasing for another update, we were finally informed that there had been a miscommunication between the agencies and that the flat had actually already been let through Leaders before we even attended the viewing.<br>This was incredibly frustrating. Not only was our time wasted, but our hopes were raised unnecessarily over several days. At multiple points, we were led to believe that the property was available and that our application was progressing, when in reality it had already been taken.<br>To make matters worse, the agency is still actively advertising the property, which only adds to the confusion and suggests that the listing has not been properly updated or managed.<br>Arranging viewings outside of standard working hours has also been extremely difficult. It’s ironic that those of us working full-time to meet the income requirements needed to rent these properties seem to have the hardest time accessing viewings in the first place.<br>Mistakes can happen, but better communication between agencies and more accurate information being given to prospective tenants would have prevented a very disappointing experience.

They always offer honest and justified advise which has always guided me to make the right decisions. They provide honest valuations and it shows in the actual sale price when the sale is agreed. The have solutions for every problem and make the whole experience stress free and good value for money. I would always use your move as they have a professional and solution driven attitude that saves delays. They work as a team and are always welcoming and friendly and easy to approach when needed. I used the recommended in-house solicitors and they have also been great and I will further use them for my purchase. Great experience all round. Thank you..

We are hoping to move there soon, but as we will be new to the area, we were looking for ideas of locations suitable for our needs. Kian was excellent, came up with lots of ideas, information, tips and hints. When we do move, we will be back!

I genuinely felt supported and never left “hung out to dry” after my offer was accepted. Her consistent communication was exactly what I needed — always professional, always timely, and she kept me fully informed rather than wondering when or how confirmation from the seller would come through.<br><br>Unfortunately, the offer didn’t result in a completed sale, but the hard work, dedication, and transparency Kayleigh showed throughout the process were greatly appreciated. She made a challenging situation far easier to manage, and I’m genuinely grateful for the effort she put in to keep me updated under tough circumstances.

21st Jun 2026 (14 days ago)I Called up the Bedford office to try to arrange to view a retirement property they had advertised for sale and the agent was very vague about the property and didn't know if it was still for sale or not,& ummed and arred, & couldn't find it on their system even thou it was on rightmove and had only been for sale for a few days, i will get someone to call you back A-sap, that was 6 days ago???????????????????????? and still no return call, really feel for the vendor as its cost them a sale as luckily for me another agent had one for sale in the same block i called up & arranged to view the next day, sale agreed on viewing ..SIMPLE AND HOW IT SHOULD BE,!! So thanks Leaders for nothing..

Their valuation was surprisingly higher than I’d expected, and their selling strategy spot on! My property sold within days of the open house event they ran and got a lot more than I’d expected. All the staff I dealt with were professional, friendly and efficient. I have no reservations in recommending them, my home sale was painless - I’d lived there for 37 years so was anxious about the whole process, but it went brilliantly. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process - always responsive, clear, and proactive. What really stood out was their genuine approach to sales negotiation. They provided honest advice, managed expectations well, and worked hard to achieve the best possible outcome. In an industry that doesn't always enjoy the best reputation, Fry Estate Agents are a real breath of fresh air. From the outset Andrew took a genuine interest in my property and plans, and the photographs and brochure he organised were excellent. Andrew kept me informed at all stages and the dedicated WhatsApp group proved a very efficient method of communicating. A very friendly and efficient firm and I would highly recommend them.

Moving house can be incredibly stressful, but he was always on the end of the phone/email to answer any queries with a personalised and professional approach, which showed genuine gratitude to ensure everything ran smoothly. In my opinion communication is key and he was absolutely brilliant with communication as he would call back when a message was left or email back as quickly as possible. As Taylor Made was just a stone's throw away, the market knowledge was excellent the house was priced the house competitively resulting in a quick sale so this was highly appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend Clive at Taylor Made to others in the area looking to sell, which I already have done. Keep up the outstanding customer service!

He was friendly and really good at communicating with us with viewings and how things were going. Once we had an offer on our property, Adam showed us our house we are in now off market and we fell completely in love. He made so much effort to make sure it all happened.<br>Although the timeline was long, no fault of Adam’s, he stayed constant in communication when we needed and was always there.<br>Would definitely recommend and use again.

We had a few problems (not caused by them) and they did all the work for us to iron out the problems and ensure that the sale went through. I cannot recommend them highly enough and great value for money too :) We will definitely use them again.

On arrival she was friendly and professional, and explained exactly what she was going to do before getting started which put me at ease straight away. She clearly cares about doing a good job and made the whole process feel easy. It was lovely to speak with her too and share knowledge, we had a lovely conversation and was very kind!<br>We were also very happy with the welcome we received when we moved in. Honestly a world of difference compared to our previous estate agents in terms of professionalism, competence and kindness. We would definitely recommend Cheriee and Lovett Sales and Lettings!
