She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

The whole team were incredibly helpful throughout, from first meeting Nick to view the property to liaising with Karli and Sally during the purchase. Their knowledge and support made the process much easier for us. A fantastic company to deal with and one I would highly recommend.
11th May 2026 (8 weeks ago)We’re very grateful to Zoe for helping us finally get our purchase over the line after an extremely stressful seven month process, despite there being no chain involved. Zoe was persistent, proactive and supportive throughout, always chasing updates and keeping us informed even when communication from the sellers, NatWest, as well as their own solicitors, was extremely poor. We honestly don’t know how she managed to deal with them for so long, they were repeatedly unresponsive and very difficult to progress with. One thing we would say to anyone considering buying a repossession property is to think very carefully beforehand. The property remained on the market the entire time, our offer price was publicly displayed online, and viewings continued while we were already deep into the process. As first time buyers, this added a huge amount of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Unfortunately, this was something Connells failed to make clear to us before we became financially involved with our solicitors and the purchase process. Despite all of that, the team at Connells were genuinely helpful and did what they could once they understood what we were dealing with. Zoe especially went above and beyond to finally get us into our home.
7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.

She was professional, knowledgeable, approachable and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Even when our own sale unfortunately fell through, Karen remained supportive, responsive and reassuring every step of the way.<br><br>Her communication was excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble, and she genuinely went above and beyond to help. She is a real credit to the agency, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home. Thank you, Karen, for all your hard work, kindness and professionalism—it has been very much appreciated.
20th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)I recently viewed a property I was very interested in and made it clear I wanted to put in an offer and in a chain-free position. Despite this, the agent sold to a buyer involved in a chain. When I asked whether it would have been better for their vendor to receive multiple offers, I was told “of course we will take two sales over one.” When that sale later fell through and the property came back to market, I was contacted to view again. Unfortunately, the exact same situation occurred again. I was apprehensive to move forward given the previous time and again, whilst in discussion with the agent, not given a fair opportunity to put in an offer, while the agent managed to reconnect the chain. I understand that the market is difficult, but prioritising an internal double-deal over the vendor’s best interests feels deeply underhand. If I were the seller, I would be furious to learn this was happening. On a separate note, I was taken aback by the line of questioning I received during the viewing. Being quizzed about my age and affordability, along with comments like I “only look about 15”, came across as unprofessional and demeaning. It left me feeling uncomfortable and put me off wanting to view further properties with this agent.
27th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)These people dont have your interests at heart. I've been in very limited contact for just short of 3 months. I have called and emailed about 2 separate properties and they fail to reply and fail to actually commit. This has been a very stressful situation that they share zero empathy in. This business is NOT fit for purpose. Charles has not even met expectations in this situation and I've not been able to discuss this with anyone else.

Paul was great throughout the whole process - knowledgeable, helpful, efficient and never put any pressure on us. He was also very supportive keeping the sellers up to date and onside when we had an abortive sale on our side. Paul help keep the sale on track. Just a nice guy in fact. We liked him a lot.

Jason is extremely professional, has a wealth of knowledge and has a thoughtful approach to marketing and sales. He made contact regularly and if there was no news he would still touch base and give valuable advice to ensure the sale carried on quickly and efficiently which it certainly did. This was a somewhat emotional sale for me and I felt fully supported all the way through which was invaluable and very much appreciated. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Knight Frank in Henley.

A special mention has to go to Ellen Horsley, who has been an exceptional point of contact throughout our tenancy. Ellen is always approachable, responsive, and incredibly efficient. Whether it’s been routine queries, maintenance requests, or general support, she has handled everything promptly and with a friendly, reassuring attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly values building good relationships with tenants. The agency as a whole has been organized and transparent, making the renting process smooth and stress-free over the years.
