She was always very informative with new properties that she thought might be right for us and every viewing we attended to Katie was always there waiting to greet us and ready to showcase the property to it’s full potential. Once we found are property Katie was amazing in helping us with every step of the way. She made the whole process very easy with constant support and communication between us chancellors head office and our new landlord. We truly appreciate everything Katie done for us and can only describe her as totally amazing and wonderful in her role as a chancellors letting agent . Francesca and David was helpful, supportive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. They always responded quickly to my questions and made the purchase feel much smoother and less stressful. I’m very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend them!
14th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)We have recently sold our mother’s house. Of the three agents shortlisted, we chose Ballards due to high street presence and their enthusiasm and approach. This included Ryan who is dedicated to progressing the sale through to completion.<br><br>We agreed the particulars quickly, had viewings booked within a day and an immediate offer of the asking price. We used Conway solicitors (introduced by Ballards). The entire process was faultless and very fast as the buyers were keen to move quickly.<br><br>We completed on the sale less than 6 weeks after the house going on the market. Thank you to Ryan, Harry and the team at Ballards for ensuring a successful outcome for both parties.

Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

Everything went really smoothly and we always felt very well looked after.<br><br>What impressed me the most was actually how we ended up buying the house. I had called Charlie about it before, but by then it was already off the market. I honestly didn’t expect him to remember that conversation, but when the original sale fell through, Charlie remembered me and contacted me straight away to see if we were still interested. And now the house is ours! ??????<br><br>I think this really shows how much they care about their customers and actually listen to people rather than just treating you as another enquiry.<br><br>Thank you Charlie and everyone at Parkers for all your help. We are very happy and already busy with the renovation! ??????

The whole team were incredibly helpful throughout, from first meeting Nick to view the property to liaising with Karli and Sally during the purchase. Their knowledge and support made the process much easier for us. A fantastic company to deal with and one I would highly recommend.
11th May 2026 (15 weeks ago)We’re very grateful to Zoe for helping us finally get our purchase over the line after an extremely stressful seven month process, despite there being no chain involved. Zoe was persistent, proactive and supportive throughout, always chasing updates and keeping us informed even when communication from the sellers, NatWest, as well as their own solicitors, was extremely poor. We honestly don’t know how she managed to deal with them for so long, they were repeatedly unresponsive and very difficult to progress with. One thing we would say to anyone considering buying a repossession property is to think very carefully beforehand. The property remained on the market the entire time, our offer price was publicly displayed online, and viewings continued while we were already deep into the process. As first time buyers, this added a huge amount of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Unfortunately, this was something Connells failed to make clear to us before we became financially involved with our solicitors and the purchase process. Despite all of that, the team at Connells were genuinely helpful and did what they could once they understood what we were dealing with. Zoe especially went above and beyond to finally get us into our home.
7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.
19th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)I have recently sold my house through White Lion.<br>I can honestly say without them it wouldn’t have been a smooth experience.<br>Very supportive and very understanding.<br>They kept me informed the whole way through all viewings and comments and once the house was sold, they kept me in the loop the whole time.<br>I would highly recommend them to help you sell your property
20th Sep 2025 (11 mo. ago)I recently viewed a property I was very interested in and made it clear I wanted to put in an offer and in a chain-free position. Despite this, the agent sold to a buyer involved in a chain. When I asked whether it would have been better for their vendor to receive multiple offers, I was told “of course we will take two sales over one.” When that sale later fell through and the property came back to market, I was contacted to view again. Unfortunately, the exact same situation occurred again. I was apprehensive to move forward given the previous time and again, whilst in discussion with the agent, not given a fair opportunity to put in an offer, while the agent managed to reconnect the chain. I understand that the market is difficult, but prioritising an internal double-deal over the vendor’s best interests feels deeply underhand. If I were the seller, I would be furious to learn this was happening. On a separate note, I was taken aback by the line of questioning I received during the viewing. Being quizzed about my age and affordability, along with comments like I “only look about 15”, came across as unprofessional and demeaning. It left me feeling uncomfortable and put me off wanting to view further properties with this agent.

Paul was great throughout the whole process - knowledgeable, helpful, efficient and never put any pressure on us. He was also very supportive keeping the sellers up to date and onside when we had an abortive sale on our side. Paul help keep the sale on track. Just a nice guy in fact. We liked him a lot.

A number of viewings carried out speedily and feedback provided in a timely manner. All staff were friendly and approachable. Great teamwork apparent.

After meeting with several estate agents, it was clear that Luke was the right person to handle our sale. He quickly understood the property, set out a clear strategy, and impressed us with his honesty, flexibility, and ambition.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout, with Luke always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Tiffany was also a pleasure to work with, helping with viewings and queries, while Mark provided great support whenever Luke was away.<br><br>We accepted an offer within days, and despite a few inevitable hurdles before completion, the process was smooth overall thanks to Luke and the team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Thomas Merrifield to anyone looking to move in the area.

No question was ever too much, and they really felt like allies in what can be quite a lengthy and stressful process. We couldn't recommend them more highly.- 7th Aug 2026 (17 days ago)I contacted Matt Davies to view a property in mid May. After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.
18th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.- 11th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)If you want to sell a property and know they're doing all they can to help, Chancellors in Thame are the best. They didn't just want to keep reducing the price like others did, they had made a huge effort to sell for the right amount.

A special mention has to go to Ellen Horsley, who has been an exceptional point of contact throughout our tenancy. Ellen is always approachable, responsive, and incredibly efficient. Whether it’s been routine queries, maintenance requests, or general support, she has handled everything promptly and with a friendly, reassuring attitude. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly values building good relationships with tenants. The agency as a whole has been organized and transparent, making the renting process smooth and stress-free over the years. Communication has always been clear, and any issues have been resolved quickly and professionally.
