6th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)The sale of Whirlow House was the sale of my family home of 48 years after the death of my second parent. We’d moved in, from another house in Kirby Muxloe, when I was 7 years old. Although I had moved out many years previously, the processing and clearing out of the house was a hugely emotional- not to mention physical- ordeal. I really needed an estate agent who ‘got it’ and got what it meant to me. Alex Broadley, who I did not previously know but I had seen flyers/cards for, was one of several estate agents I considered for the selling of Whirlow. It had to be Alex- he presented well and additionally, being Kirby Muxloe born and bred himself, he had unbeatable interest in the history and selling of the houses in this village especially, and crucially, he ‘got’ me. And Whirlow. And he had an accurate eye for potential buyer interest. He was also very astute and considered in dealing with my many queries. Alex made a hideous situational sale manageable and bearable and I cannot overstate the importance of that to me.
7th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. Absolutely NO interest, personable approach or motivation in presentation! In short personality and sales approach of a cold fish!
27th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Wish I could’ve bought through the local estate agent; Brunel Estate Agents. Ideal Homes epitomise a big company that know nothing about the property, the area or any legal requirements. They market properties with gardens that aren’t owned by the property, don’t bother advertising the parking at properties with parking in areas where parking is at a premium. When they accept your offer they wait weeks to actually send the memorandum of sale, then during the sale don’t bother to keep you up to date, chase the seller or update you on changes such as the seller pulling out! Total incompetence on every level. Wouldn’t buy or sell with them even if they paid me to.

25th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)Manager Mark Price and his team at Jackson Stops in Truro worked relentlessly towards a successful completion on the sale of our house in the Isles of Scilly. Unfortunately, after five stressful months dealing with a very difficult buyer, it was clearly not meant to happen and the sale fell through. Throughout, Mark Price showed true professionalism - always proactive and on hand to give advice and keep communications going. Mark Price and his team at Jackson Stops Truro comes highly recommended for anyone wanting to sell or buy a property.

26th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)In their correspondence emails they warn about companies in this field. they say "this is a red flag and would indicate you are NOT dealing with a reputable company! • Drop their offer at the last minute - If a serious structural issue is raised during the survey, this may affect the offer price. However, a genuine home buyer would NEVER try to renegotiate their formal offer based on cosmetic concerns. " This is exactly what they did so this is a red flag and would indicate you are NOT dealing with a reputable company!
2nd Jan 2026 (11 weeks ago)Scott Parry associates have just successfully sold our Property in Cargreen, and I can honestly say that they are by-far the best agents that we have ever dealt with. We went with Scott after his property appraisal, as he was genuinely enthusiastic about our property and location, and the photography and drone footage that they provided was incredible. The market is very challenging at the moment, and the team persevered with many viewings and were proactive and accommodating for potential viewings throughout the entire process. The whole team were fantastic, and in particular Megan, who we could not fault, and we felt like she made it her mission to sell our property. The market is incredibly tough, so be realistic about your sell price and Scott Parry Associates will get it done for you!

29th Mar 2023 (2 years ago)Avoid this Lettings agency at all cost, they do not keep up to date with legal requirements for rental properties eg; provision of carbon monoxide alarms etc. Communication extremely poor or non existent. They will not repay your deposit back at the end of the tenancy. Had to get a statutory declaration signed by a local solicitor and sent to the Deposit Protection Scheme in order for the deposit to repaid in full.
8th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)As first time buyers we had no idea what we were doing, the team at Dawson Nott were incredibly patient with us as we asked questions and helped us to understand the process. They helped us chase out solicitors who weren’t playing ball and worked really hard to get the sale completed before Christmas thank you so much!

27th Aug 2023 (2 years ago)Mel behaviour is very unprofessional and bites back when you don’t want to make an offer on a property. Offered a previous survey that she stated was really good, after a 4 day delay waiting for it having to ask three times. The survey has about £40,000 of repairs. She states “I feel really sad for you that you lose out, never mind” I’m disgusted at the behaviour.
