When first putting the property on the market he kept me informed and the same during the viewing. If there was more than 5 stars you would have got them Thankyou very much
13th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Ignoring all issues, at once we had blocked drains, washing machine, drier, smoke alarm, freezer, lights tumble drier problems. None of the above were working, took them 8 months to sort some out and some still left behind. Rent is up by 6.5% every year and no service provided. Highly recommend not to use their services

7th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)We bought and sold with Sara and would highly recommend her. She was always available at whatever time (frequent 10pm email conversations!) and even when she was abroad for a few days when we completed. We had a very complicated purchase during which Sara communicated with solicitors, other estate agents, vendors living abroad, and our purchasers to make everything happen with a great deal of tact and common sense. Our purchase and sale would not have happened without her.

13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)We put the house on the market in May 2026, after speaking to Philip Booth (and other estate agents) for over one year. He totally understood that getting ready for an international move is not a quick thing. The asking price was set realistically together and we got full asking price, within one week of putting it on the market and we only had one couple viewing. Quite a whirlwind and a great result. Margaret was our main contact from Philip Booth Esq and communication was quick, accurate when needed. What has stood out since we moved in September has been when the Post Office failed to redirect post etc (which was ordered and paid for and was suppose to start the week before we moved) the PB team and Margaret has helped beyond their remit with picking up post from the buyers, communicated about it and made sure we’ve received it. We are so grateful for everything. Selling a house and moving is never easy, physically or emotionally. So pleased we had and chose the right team supporting us on this journey. Thankyou.

Having recently completed the purchase of our new home through them we were incredibly fortunate to have Tildey involved in the process.<br><br>From start to finish, Tildey’s communication, dedication and professionalism were exceptional. She kept us informed, chased things when necessary, responded quickly to questions and consistently went above and beyond to keep the purchase moving forward.<br><br>What really stood out was Tildey’s ability to deal with challenges calmly and professionally. Whenever an issue arose, Tildey didn’t simply pass it on — she took ownership, communicated with everyone involved and worked incredibly hard to find solutions. Her persistence, skill and determination undoubtedly played a huge part in getting the purchase successfully completed.<br><br>Just as importantly, Tildey showed genuine kindness, patience and understanding throughout what can be an extremely stressful process. We never felt like we were simply another sale. Tildey genuinely cared about helping us get into our new home and went far beyond what we would ever expect from an estate agent.<br><br>In our experience, Tildey demonstrated an exceptional combination of communication skills, knowledge, dedication, professionalism and genuine care.<br><br>Tildey is an absolute credit to Gascoigne-Pees and the estate agency profession as a whole. However Alex Barton at Strutt and Parker Newbury exceeded our expectations with his calm, extremely professional and level headed approach. Alex’s knowledge of the market and the local area is second to non, and he was always on the other end of the phone be it for reassurance or updates on viewings etc. I really felt as though our hand was held throughout the process and nothing was ever a problem and always delivered with a smile! The marketing of our home was exceptional both from Newbury as well as Head Office. It really was a pleasure selling our home through S&P and I would highly recommend Alex to anybody needing to sell their own most cherished treasure. Thank you S&P!

Harry strived to achieve the best purchase price possible for us. Special mention to Matthew as well who photographed our house and helped us with the process. All at Parkers, Reading have provided an amazing service to make our sale as painless as possible.

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
