13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)I recently purchased a property through Savills Henley and wanted to leave a review from a buyer’s perspective, as most reviews tend to come from sellers.<br><br>The purchase was particularly complex, but the team at Savills Henley were extremely professional, helpful and communicative throughout the process.<br><br>A particular thank you to Charles, who was excellent to deal with, very personable and played a critical role in helping the purchase progress smoothly despite the challenges involved.<br><br>Overall, a great experience with a professional and approachable team. I would certainly look forward to doing more business with Savills Henley in the future.<br><br>Highly recommended!

He is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer all our questions. 8th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience and serious concerns about transparency.<br>We applied to rent 1 Compton Manor while arranging an international move. We were accepted as tenants, paid a holding deposit, received a draft tenancy agreement and underwent referencing and credit checks.<br>We were then informed that the owner had agreed to sell the property and our tenancy would not proceed. We subsequently discovered that the property had been marketed for sale by Warmingham only 1 month before it was advertised to let.<br>We made a formal complaint because neither of us had understood that the property we were applying to rent was actively for sale. Warmingham later stated that their agent recalled verbally telling us this during the viewing. This is completely inconsistent with our recollection: we clearly remember being told that the neighbours property within the six-home development was vacant and for sale, not 1 Compton Manor.<br>After we disputed Warmingham's account in writing, we received no further response or final outcome to our formal complaint.<br>Had we known the property was actively for sale, it would have materially affected our decision to proceed with the deposit, referencing and credit checks.<br>Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Warmingham. We believe the property's dual sale/rental status should have been made absolutely clear before we were asked to commit to the rental process.<br>Prospective tenants are looking for stable homes and often have little room for uncertainty once they begin committing money, time and personal information to a property. In our view, allowing tenants to progress this far without making the risk of an ongoing sale unmistakably clear takes unfair advantage of that imbalance and falls well short of the transparency we would expect from a professional estate agent.- 9th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)If you're in need of a estate agent in Pangbourne and surrounding areas i can highly recommend Davis Tate if your going to let a Property Sylwia is the person to speak to as she will sort out everything you need really good advice very professional i really couldn't recommend her enough

They gave us a professional, efficient and friendly service right from the valuation at the start, through the excellent photographs for the sales details, handling all the visits. We had great support from Kerry and Ella during the final stages. We can thoroughly recommend the whole Team. Thank you all.

13th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Very disappointing communication and customer service<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience with Prospect Letting Agency was extremely frustrating, particularly regarding communication, transparency and the accuracy of information provided.<br><br>Oliver Payne (Ollie) was our main point of contact, and we repeatedly had to chase him for responses to straightforward questions regarding the tenancy, payments, inventory, parking and check-in arrangements. Emails were often unanswered for several days, even with the branch manager copied in, and we frequently had to escalate or call to get a response.<br><br>We were also given incorrect information about the property. We were initially told it was electric-only, whereas the property actually has both gas and electricity.<br><br>The Goodlord payment process was particularly confusing and stressful. A blocking/holding deposit of £311.54 had already been paid on 27 June. We subsequently paid the full deposit individually through Goodlord, but the portal did not provide a clear explanation of how the previous payment had been accounted for. We also had to make the deposit payments separately rather than being able to make one payment from a single bank account.<br><br>We repeatedly asked the agency for a clear written breakdown of the deposit, first month’s rent, payments already made and, most importantly, where the initial £311.54 payment had been accounted for. Despite asking for clarification, we received no timely response and were left trying to understand the figures ourselves. This was particularly concerning because these were significant financial transactions, and we simply wanted confirmation that we were not paying anything twice or losing any money.<br><br>Although the tenancy was eventually completed, the process was unnecessarily stressful and required far too much chasing from our side.<br><br>For a letting agency, accurate information, clear communication and transparency around payments are fundamental. Always picking up phone calls, always there to help no matter the question, always on top of things. They even gave us a lovely house warming present with a drawing of the house at the end of the process! Thanks again!
7th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)I contacted Matt Davies to view a property in mid May. After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed.
